get a gopro that can shoot in 1080p (I think they all do) and figure out how you can mount it to your boat. headcams are the easy way to go, but a tripod would make for better footage and you can get them cheap.

allow me to take a more passive approach to your issue. Yes, it would help to set the hook with a lot of force to bury those thick frog hooks. I'd wait until the bass's head goes under, don't wait for him to be fully resubmerged. just watch the head. what power rod are you using, by the way? If it is a medium, I would recommend upgrading to heavy or at least medium heavy for all your frog applications. I've done all my frog fishing with a medium, and it's the WORST! I lose a lot of fish on it. You just need more force.

in the short-term, no. you don't live in and breath in that water the way the bass do. the amount of pollutant in the water most likely isn't very high, and there is probably very low risk of an issue in the future. Wash your hands when you get home, anyway, especially if you're nervous about the whole subject, just to play it safe. but I would not worry.
