Just fished the susky river this passed week. River was on fire . Biggest fish 19 inches and got about 80 fish between me and my partner . Went out with a guide on a jet boat. Awesome day. Most fish were caught on a 1.5 inch crank . Some on a trd bait like a ned rig and some on a keitech swim bait. Really a great trip!

Just got up at lake george . Water temps are 55 .. just wondering if anybody is fishing this area now and anyone have any good tips on pre-spawn baits on this lake. What colors and sizes do you guys recommend thank you in advance!!!

Fishing for smallies with my dobyns hp extreme finesse 702 and stradic ci4+ with 4lb sunline with a blugill flash easy shinner kietech ... Noticed baitfish coming up and saw a monster splash hit the water . Made 3 cast north of it and something slammed it and almost spooked 150 yards faster than I could tighten the drag a little . 10 mins later and this guy came up! Personal best lake striped bass!!! Probably between 10-15 lbs . This was hit right before sundown

The boat is a 2014 tzx 195 . In pretty much showroom condition . I bought a house on lake wallenpaupack in northern pa. I appreciate all the info and comments everyone ! I think ill trailer it and put a pontoon in the slip!

Just bought a house on a lake that comes with a boat slip.. Debating if I should leave my skeeter in the water once they put the docks in next season . I'm a weekend fisherman and the house is 120 miles from my current residence in NYC. Just want to hear anyone's thoughts or advice . Thanks guys!

What were the conditions ? Water temp? How long were you there for fishing ? And 8lber that's sick!

Thanks for the report sounds like a truly amazing trip. I'm about 45-1 hour away from black lake and never really tried it yet. Is there a motor restriction on the lake at all?

If u have w boat I highly recommend stepping stones resort . They have separate cabins and u can dock your boat for 25$ a day. Very clean rooms and perfect for fisherman. That's the only time I went up and my buddy has been going there for years . Good luck let us know how u do! TIGHT LINES !

I've never had a trip like that .... Last day was over 200 fish between 520am and 9pm .... I can't wait for the fall bite !!!

Fished from Thursday to Saturday and got almost 500 large and smallmouth with a buddy of mine ! Seriously a epic trip. Most were caught using bottom contact baits like tubes , drop shorting , twin tail grubs and some coming off inline spinners .

Went up from Thursday -Sunday morning and caught almost 500 fish smallies and largemouth and some nice quality ones too. Water temp about 62.5 and conditions were just perfect . 1st day they hit all moving baits and mostly smallies ... Then the second day targeted banks and docks and found a nice mix of largies and smallies.... What a epic trip I gotta say!

I've fly fished here before and caught quite a few smallies and some large bluegill. I've seen boats all up and down near this area drifting back and forth. How is it from boat? Anyone fish this stretch of the Delaware for smallies ?

Going up this weekend gonna hit the pack and maybe other near scraton area. How is everyone doing ?

1 largemouth and 7 smallies. A lot of missed strikes probably just nipping the tail of the kietech. I think water temp was 53 . A guide up there said he killed it on the 2-3/4 size I was using the 4.5 I think. This week I will try the smaller ones . I havnt been to the susky yet . Don't have a boat set up for it .

Thanks for the tips ! Went out and scouted the area and caught a total of 8 fish around docks and inside coves . They all hit a kietech fat impact with a white and red jig head 1/4 ounce
