Well Im definitely in need of some advice. I have a 12' predator, which is similar to the bass raider. Anyways alot of the time Ive had to resort to dragging it, akd sure enough on the back end by the transdom theres a small 2" crack that is slowly filling up. I have no clue how to patch it it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I bet 10lb yo zuri hybrid could cover then widest range of techniques.

Cool thread! I was searching for something similar to this. Ive recently begun tying my own skirts on premade heads, and planned to keep it pretty simple as far as skirt combinations go, just these three combinations: Black&Blue: Two solid black tabs with a half tab of solid blue Green Pumkin: for this I just bought the "perfect craw" under the living image section on fishingskirts.com. turned out a bit more brown than I wanted but I still like it. Pb&j: just used the "ultimate pb&j" of off fishingskirts.com. All of then look really simple, not even really worth posting. I think In the future Im just going to buy a couple different shades of solid colors instead of using the living image selection. Itll feel a little more custom and be alot cheaper if I buy in bulk and utilize the 40% off.

Did you buy any with the note "scratch" on it? Most that were 40% had that note. Did you see any scratches and how big were they?

the idea of shopping at a local shop even though they have higher prices, is nice but I think its doomed for failure. I agree experience is a big part of it, also with carrying some tackle that alot of big box stores dont. I think Bluebasser86's local shop sounded really cool. I like the idea of homemade baits. If you just got a few locals to pour jigheads and maybe some soft plastics. That could really offer something that big box stores cant that would probably be better priced.

Bought my first Lucky Craft Pointer today. Man these things are works of art. Found a 78sp in Rainbow Trout at one of the local sporting goods stores on clearance, which will be perfect because ever reservoir around me is stocked with them Tl;dr: LC pointers look just as good in person!

I use 12lb yo zuri hybrid and I love it, but then again its the only copolymer that I have experience with, so I dont have anything to compare it against. No reason to try any other co poly.
