  1. Where are you located in SE washington? I live pretty close to there. Anywaya nice job man
  2. Been in dallas on buisness for 3 weeks, and its a pretty cool feeling to be so close to all these top 20 bass fishing lakes. Fishings good up in northern idaho but not like this! Unfortunately I wasnt able to bring any fishing gear, but seeing how close I am to Toledo Bend and Lake Fork are certainy making me regret it....
  3. Haha I just looked at it maxes out at 45% off at 549
  4. Its like 15% off of a 149 dollar order, 25% off 249 dollar order, 35% off 349 dollar order, and so on
  5. Not to derail the thread but when would you pick up a wacky rigged senko instead of say a ned rig? Just curious what other do here, I lve had success with both and sometimes Im a little torn on which one to pick up. Maybe the wacky rig is a bit more of a drop technique and the ned you can cover more water with?
  6. Since my girlfriend started catching some serious numbers on the ned rig, I dont have to drag her with me anymore! I used to try to have her dropshot, but she liked working the bait too much, so the ned is perfect! She has confidence in it now so it looks like I got a new partner
  7. I accidently left one on the bed of my pickup all day on a 100 degree day and it didnt melt at all haha. It was very used though
  8. Going to go down to Carollton for about 3 weeks in july to do some training for my work. Anybody from around there and can give me some tips on where to go bank fishing at? Thanks

  10. 1/8th ounce is my go to unless its very deep or windy.
  11. One thing Ive noticed is that no one on here who buys expensive enthusiast grade tackle will tell you that you have to get them. Most that buy them simply enjoy the craftsmanship.
  12. One thing Ive bever known for sure is at what depth generally when to switch to a deep diving jerkbait. Going to fish for smallies tmrw in a deep rocky reservoir, with nothing but steep slopes and one flat. Water visibility should be 4-6ft. Would a x-80 trick darter (4-8ft) on 6lb line allow it to get deep enough to effectly fish ledges that get deep quickIy? Water temps are probably 45-55 degrees. Thanks for any advice guys.
  13. I feel you dude. First day on for the year (about a month in a half ago), and I slayed them. Last four times Ive went fishing I havent gotten one single bite. I thought they were supposed to get more active as the water warmed up!? I know its not that simple though. I figure worst case scenario its a nice day out on the water.
  14. I have 12lb on my all purpose set up and I definitely have no complaints, dont plan on switching it out any time soon. I was also under the impression that it was thick the the poundage. Interesting to know it isnt.
  15. My Megabass Orochi xx was made in china.
  16. Whatcha plan on using the PP for mainly? Seems like it would work well for a lot of bigger baits, its definitey on my list
  17. Awhile ago I emailed Gary at the TackleTrap, who has fished all of the megabass rods and knows a wealth of info about them, and this was his response in question to how well the Perfect Pitch handles (3/8th ounce jigs and down to 1/4 oz t rigs) : Several would do it, but the XX Perfect Pitch, even though it's a powerful rod for a 1/4 oz t-rig, is a great loading/pitching rod, an excellent frog rod, and a great all around jig rod. It loads and is a better overall feeling bottom contact rod in my hands than either the TV or Jig and Worm. We do have it in stock and ready to go if you decide to give it a shot. Let me know if you have any additional questions, thanks!
  18. Out of curiosity what set up do you use as your frog rod/reel?
  19. Scored a good deal on a new Megabass Orochii xx Diablo Spec R. On one of the big commercial sellers on that auction site I sent an offer than was lowballing them pretty good (they were trying to sell it for MRSP) and sure enough they accepted $240 w/free shipping so Im stoked!
  20. How much did you up it? Drop shotting has been 95% of my finesse fishing, and most of the time its pretty shallow, but anything over 1/8th ounce feel like Its just plunking to the bottom.
  21. For flipping/casting jigs, by far the most popular colors are: Black&Blue,PB&J, Green Pumkpin. For swimjigs add in any sort of shad color, and a bluegill/sunfish color.
  22. Search for "japan fishing goods ebay" on google and go to their store. Should be one of the first links that pop up.
  23. Fishingskirts.com is recommended by a lot of people here. They have a few different kits.
  24. Tried searching around on the pelican megathread, but didnt find enough. I went to a new lake yesterday that had really sharp small rocks, and after having to manhandle it myself, I put two very small 2" scratches deep enough to puncture through the plastic. Its a 12' Intruder made with the Ram-x stuff. Currently debating on buying this plastic welder from harbor freight: http://m.harborfreight.com/80-watt-iron-plastic-welding-kit-60662.html Is this necessary, or can I use some JB Weld marine from the local hardware store? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
  25. Would this work? http://m.harborfreight.com/welding/plastic-welders/80-watt-iron-plastic-welding-kit-60662.html
