  3. Any suggestions on colors that are fairly versatile?
  4. More specific ok I fish water that varies from 4 to 10 feet that has quite ages drop offs. I'm not necessarily looking for lipless cranks mostly shallow to medium divers.

  6. I would like some suggestions on 5 good crankbaits to buy and colors/sizes
  7. I have an older round Abu reel with a 4.7:1 gear ratio any recommendations on a rod for it?
  8. I read that reels with a 7:1 ratio or higher were good for baits you work with your rod. Is this true? Would this make them good for top waters and Texas rigs?
  9. Mostly squarebills and medium divers could a 5.4:1 reel cover it? Thats what the combo comes with and it would save me some money by buying the combo.
  10. I have the older version of the Bass Pro pro qualifier spinning reel I really like.
  11. I agree with the ugly stik elite. I got one as a replacement for my ugly stik lite which I unfortunately lost. I paired the 5' ultralight with a shimano sienna 500fd. Killer ultralight combo.
  12. So i've been looking around for a good crankbait setup. Right now Bass Pro has a crankin stick and abu garcia orra 2 winch combo for $150. I'm just wondering if this would be a good beginner setup for crankbaits and I would also like some advice on gear ratio and rod length/power/action that would handle most crankbaits. here is a link to the combo: http://www.basspro.com/Abu-Garcia-Orra-2-Winch-Reel/Bass-Pro-Shops-Crankin-Stick-Baitcast-Combo/product/1410170740311/
  13. What about gear ratios for the reels in these setups?
