Shaky head and drop shot
Roboworm also works EXCELLENT on a shaky head... Use a drop shot more when fish are suspended or the lake has a really mucky bottom, shaky head on hard, clean bottoms.

Wacky Rig Senko
Have tried the standard circle hooks/dropshot hooks, and found my hook-up ratio to be terrible... Straight shank hooks, no matter the brand, have been immensely better for me. For weighted, I like the Buckeye Flick-it head in 3/32 with a GY Senko, have caught some pigs on both setups...

Ned head hooks
anyone want to sell any of these ned heads? Never fished it before, but would like to try it

Poppers and Walkers Choice
I've caught fish at all times of day on a popper this year, a new one I tried... I can make this popper walk, spit, or pop, and it looks good and catches fish like crazy! This popper is... Drumroll... The Academy H2O popper! Yall need to buy a couple, well worth the money, I'm not kidding!

Siebert Jigs
I would as well...

Jig Trailers
think about maybe a watermelon color jig with a red trailer, that would match crawfish in my area part of the year

Su spin / under spin
I caught my limit on it on a day when otherwise I would have had one fish, all at the back of a creek in two feet of water, prob caught about ten keepers... I try to feel the bait in the same way, but as I was throwing it with a swimbait, I was keying on the thump of the swimbait tail... Caught them at first light, and at about 1:30 pm.

Shimano trouble
Thanks for the info, guys... The Sahara hasn't messed up again, and I have not cleaned at all... The Sedonas I have owned for 2-3 years, and they started binding after I cleaned them...

Siebert Jigs
Currently, I like Dirty Jigs, but these jigs look just as good, if not better, and cheaper to boot!

Match the hatch... Or off the wall
I have fished some lakes where color seemed not to matter too much, but I fish a few lakes where a certain color is just always the best, and I don't really know why, but that's just how it is...

Su spin / under spin
I just started throwing these a lot in the last two months, fishing it like a spinnerbait. I put a Keitech 3.8 swimbait on the back of a fish head spin..

Jig Trailers
I think both work, I usually try to match, but I'm gonna try mixing it up some this year... I'm just gonna try to make sure that when I mix it up, I'm still using natural colors and trying to imitate a forage.

Shimano trouble
Idk what the prob is with the Shimanos, when they work, they work well...?

Flash mob jr.
Keitech 3.8, and Zoom Fat Alberts ( Yes, they work fantastically!) First tourney I won on A-rig, was on the grubs... White pearl is a good place to start on color, and get a few clear baitfish colors too...

Spike It vs. JJ's Magic
Lol, my wife HATES when I bring that stuff inside (JJs), she threatens to kick me out of the house! ? I've used it a good bit, and usually it doesn't seem like I get more bites with it, but it does seem like the fish hold on to the bait longer sometimes... But I catch plenty of fish without it, too. I do like using the Spike-It pens to color the tip of my baits, but again, doesn't always seem like it makes a difference... If you are gonna use it, double bag that sucker! ?

Siebert Jigs
I'll try that color, thanks... It's blue craw ?

spinnerbaits
I am a War Eagle fan,I believe I get more bites on them because of the thin diameter wire, and I always use the double willow, even in muddy water, because the blades on their spinnerbaits seem to thump harder than others... One note, they sell a model that has the Trokar hook and twisted line tie, I bought them because I love Trokar hooks, but have not caught nearly as many fish on them. I believe that twist line tie hinders the vibration. It may not matter as much on the Colorado versions. I will prob order one from Sieberts just to see if I like them or not... Good fishing!!

Siebert Jigs
Did I see somewhere that forum members get a discount, or no? If so, how do I get that when I order?

What are some good, cheap jerkbaits
Not had much experience with jerkbaits, but the only one I've been able to catch fish on is a LC Pointer sp in chartreuse shad... Had one day where I caught 30 bass on it between 3-6 lbs, no small ones... That was a magical day for me! ?

Siebert Jigs
Wow, just finished looking at Seibert Outdoors lines of jigs, and I'm impressed both by the quality and the price... Won't be long til I order me some football jigs, for sure! They even have my favorite color skirt, and not everyone carries it...

Rate your fishing year =2015
Caught lots of numbers this year, but not much size... Had a few six pounders, but not much bigger than that... Never even sniffed a big one. Didn't really get to fish many tourneys this year due to not having a steady partner most of the year, but did manage to won one and place in a few. Overall, I'd say a 6 out of 10

Winning Tournaments From The Back Of The Boat .
I finished second place in points 2-3 years ago in Bulldog division as coangler, my best tourney was my first one at Lanier, my boater started off throwing jerkbait and crankbait, so I pulled out the shaky head and went to work...i caught my first three fish by casting to rocky banks and free spooling my reel, because my boater was fishing so fast... Shake shake, open the bail and let more line out. After three keepers he was digging his shaky head out, and we both caught a couple more keepers. As we were fishing,I noticed a good sized spotted bass flash underwater eating a shad. I immediately tied on a wacky rig, as the shaky head bite had slowed considerably. On the next two casts, I caught my biggest fish of the day, and lost one that was pulling about the same as him... Losing the big one cost me the tourney win, but being versatile and paying attention gave me the chance to get the win, and ended up cashing a check anyways...

Hybrid bass on fire
We found a place where rain water was coming in the lake last weekend, and the hybrids were lighting it up! Caught a few largemouth, too... Caught them on white spinnerbait and sexy shad rattlebait
