my best from bank fishing are 6.4 7 8 and 9 pounder large mouth bass. caught in n.y. state in the past 5 years.

i am about an hour north of you. yesterday, 4/20 i caught 9 bass along the banks of a local pond.tried spinner baits to no avail so i went to a wacky rigged senko and slow fished the bottom just at the drop off .water is still cold. the fish were on the small side.water needs to warm up a tad and then you will see improvement. mark

caught 9 small bass using a wacky rig senko. it was cold and windy, but was pure fun feeling that tugging on the other end of the line.

got my first yesterday, 4/21. got 9 in all on my first time out. all small ones but good to get out. mark

i heard that river has real pollution problems.

when i,m not using a spinnerbait, my go to rig is a wacky rigged senko and i fish nice and slow. works like a charm.

i used to live in michigan. i now live in n.y. state. the state record there is 11lbs. 4 oz.it would seem to be the limit in weight in the north. down south with the long summer, there have been 14lb. or larger bass in states like texas,fla. etc.my p.best. 8 lbs, 3 oz.

live in new windsor n.y. about an hour away. live on a private lake. if you ever want to go fishing, let me know.have a timeshare at shawnee on the delaware. mark

there are trout in those connecticut lakes. been up there several times moose watching. guaranteed sightings.

got a couple of big lm bass in the hudson valley in the last two years.8.3 lbs. my personal best.

i give my battery a slow charge monthly. can,t go wrong.
