I adjusted (swivel type arm), inside compartment, but it is flimsy metal or treaded shaft. Sorry for not having photos. Brand New 2014 Tracker 190 boat, if that helps. I also agree, LOCKS ONLY KEEP, HONEST PEOPLE HONEST!!! Thanks to all, TOM? didn't see his post? Type/manufacturers Alarms Thoughts ? Saw post, about KVD endorsed, one not to good? Thanks

Jigs, trailer problem, advice/opinion
Great info, WRB,Turtle135,Catt,papajoe222,jbrew73, and all. Thanks for the wed-sites and photos. Awesome !!!! Going to have my children help, "Old Dude" Daddy, on computer to cut/paste pictures. Already have several (nice) jigs, not to mention, I've ordered more from Tackle Warehouse, BPS, and Omega Custom Tackle, once I reviewed my notes from this site, from you gentlemen's recommendations. They run $4-$5 each. The jigs, I picked up at this show, are shaped like maybe an (upside down, Bull dogs head w/ big jowls), flat on bottom and have decent 4/0 hooks? I can't bend them with surgical hemostats. Only one had rusted bard on hook, so I tested that one, to see if I could bend. It broke, eventually. (put in vise) There are bards on rattles as Papajoe222 commented. Dang, these are from 1960? That was when I was born... LOL What WRB mentioned is Spot On. I thought, cheap practice jigs at $5.00 for 25. Coupled with me learning accurate Skipping, I'll be snagging them under docks, in other peoples boats, fallen timber, and trees. etc. etc. etc. Might keep me from scuba diving to get my good ones back. Once again, Appreciate all your help.

Jigs, trailer problem, advice/opinion
Thanks for your in-put. Hooks look like 4/0, the ones with rattles don't have room for trailer. The rest have no keepers. Hey, question on trimming jigs, Weed guards and skirts? Should I keep longer? Since, I won't use trailers on the rattle ones. Thanks again,

Drop shot weight size
What it's worth. I'm learning. They say: 1/4 max.. Wind and current have less effect on 4lb. v/s 8lb. line. ( use 6lb.) line. Even, on deep waters like Lake Erie, takes longer to get to bottom, but with some patience, and using that weight, you feel bite, and the heavy drop shoot weight, tends to hit the fish on the side. Maybe, making him spit bait out. Source: Jeremy Starks

Jigs, trailer problem, advice/opinion
Recently, Bought a lot of older 1/4oz. and 3/8 ARKIE Jigs, some old tubes, and trailers that, Had KVD's picture on them, looked a lot younger. LOL About half of jigs have rattles, that are glued and have a track for hook shaft. The skirts are grey rubber (still good) and what looks to me as Christmas tree tinsel, in reds, greens and blue. I have seen that manufacturer at K-Mart, I think? ARKIE (I thought, something on "You Tube" mentioned, they were good to skip) Have flat/rounded heads. The reason, I got 25 jigs and 8 bags of plastics for $5.00. I'm just learning to skip docks and figured I'll be losing a lot, thinking of using them as practice dummies. Question #1: Do, I just break those rattles off, to put trailers on, or what? Question #2: How long do plastics last, and would, those old tubes still be good? (about 1/2 of head is thick/solid) for Texas rigging. Question #3: Would it be worth it, to replace the skirts, with modern day material? P.S. Packages, look old, but still has fluid/salt with no leaks. (plastics feel, just like the new ones I just bought). I don't want to litter!!!!! Thanks in advance,

Chatterbait Trailer Question
Thanks, Sir. Looked at the 5-6 Chatter-baits that, I bought at Seminar. Must be homemade? The heads looked life-like and had good strong hooks w/small split tail worm, pushed up to the head on hook shaft. Was thinking of putting (Rage Tail) or swim/grub trailer and practice using. Appreciate your input.

Fluke Question ?
Question: Any of you, use screw-in type bullet weights on flukes? and if so, Is there a video that, shows how to rig flukes or any other type soft plastic baits, with that type weight? Comment: I haven't used, that type of weight and was wondering. Thanks for your time,

Chatterbait Trailer Question
Seen video on You Tube, showing/featuring, Professional Bass Pro Ott Defoe on working chatter baits, he mentioned having his guy, Tie on his trailers. (with some kind of sting) Question #1: Does any members physically tie, soft plastic trailer to chatter bait or jigs directly to hook/keeper, with thin twine? comment: Think the video, was on using them to, bounce off bottom and skipping under docks. Question #2: By gluing and pushing up on keeper, does that not, glue skirting? Thanks for your thoughts,

Making a Difference?
WHOA, WHOA, WHOA Just to clarify/Qualify, Not talking about Bling or Bragging !!!!! FYI, I don't own, Nitro Z-9 or Z-21, or anything close.. My rig- 12ft. 1975 Aluminum craft (yard sale $100.00) with deck I made from plywood, on front, to mount plastic W-Mart seat, with 30 Thrust MK, picked up at pawn shop for $25.00, curtain rod rigged with plant hanger, as extension to trolling motor handle, so I don't have to move, while I'm fishing. Watched video, on some tournament somewhere, that had like, 100's of Bass Boats, You could walk from shore to shore, just on all the boats. What I was thinking, I'm getting older, and we have all seen that, old dude, trying to find his car in W-Mart parking lot. Thank god for beeping remotes. Graphics: Watched Cancer erase, My mother and my wife's mother. My mother-in-law, called her walker, "GERTIE", A walker, isn't referring the Tennessee Walker, a breed of hound dog. It's aluminum with wheels, old folks just hold onto top of it and lean into it, to keep their balance, and allows them to move around. She died One year ago, at 85 years old. My desire was, to start a conversation and to check out what and how you guys customized your rigs.I wanted to name my boat "Gertie", because I'm an amputee, and my boat helps me fish. ( Like above mentioned walker). OUT OF RESPECT, maybe a step up from a bumper sticker.... Hell, My truck is 2010 Silverado 1500 WT, for those in here that, don't know what that means, WORK TRUCK ! Didn't mean to hit a nerve !!!!! Ya, don't have to have a full set of teeth to eat a steak, eaver........ Thanks for allowing me to straighten that out, WAY TOO MUCH INFORMATION

Could You Beat Kvd 1 Vs 1 If All He Could Use Is A Cheap Spincaster?
Key word: one against one? I would win! With my, 6 outing of experience. That, would be so easy. First 2-3 days before, I would locate power plant, near to body of water, that you will be competing on. Second, I would drag large cable from power plant to said, body of water, throw the cable in water and turn on switch, stun all the fish. Then, I'd gather all fish and place them gently into, one or several semi-truck size aquariums, (he always has at the BPS events). Lastly, cherry pick the 5 biggest bass, and anchor/livewell, cull, them in little corner of body of water. Note: stash them near ramp. Then, use blow dart, dipped in some spider venom, (not sure of species), just to slow him down. Dull his senses. He leaves ramp, I could run over to my 5 Big Bass, WHAT !!!!!! He has already located them and is having a KVD, Square bill, commercial advertising, how great it searches for bass with that tight pattern. P.S. I Dart myself, and win in my dreams, ***..

Canadian geese problems
Over thinking this! Scuba gear, with plastic gator head sewn onto scuba head piece, swim up underneath them, grab their flippers, drag them down below surface, stuff them into big casting net, (try boat anchor w/quick-release knot), AnimatedKnots.com, swim back to your property and pull rope & Dinner. Hunting sites can help on recipes. If, it's again the law? Tell the cops, you are with HOOK-N-LOOK, TV.

Fish On!?!
As for myself, when I finally get that lure, in that, right place, with-out splashing, (spooking all fish in lake) and start working the lure back to my boat, like I was taught on this site. I scream out! You better not steal my $18.99 Livingston, Primetyme, SQ 2.0 Bassmaster Classic (winning sound Technology) lure..... That thing has computer switch in it and I forgot what I set in on (was it EBS, Craw, or Shad) or silent... The problems, we all face.....

Which baitcaster casts farthest
OP, Thanks for that question ! Talking about full circle, Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha, Ha......... If, it was me, Look at tholmes, and John G, posts/answer..... These members tried to answer your question. As you asked it. All the others were opinions, that are priceless and have given, Paul Harvey's (the rest of the story). All are spot on. Now, go buy the one, you can afford, (or save for), that have specifications closest to those reels they mentioned. It's worked for me!!!!!! Then, get out there and break some records.... The 4 minute mile was humanly impossible, until someone, forgot to tell that to the man, that broke that record..... KEEP FLIPPING & PITCHING, BABY !!!!!!!

Making a Difference?
Wanted to know, If you parked your boat in a parking lot, with 20-30 boats, the same year, manufacturer, model, etc. Question #1: What makes your boat, different and stand out? Question #2: Besides putting out the $3000.00 for custom boat wraps, anyone know of sign/logo company, that would make (single/ es), custom sticker type to go over factory Logo/labels. To, make your NEW, Nitro Z-9, stand out from like 20-30 other NEW, Z-9's. I hope to hear from everyone on this one ! KEEP FLIPPING & PITCHING, BABY !!!!!!

WHY WIFES WIN
Sam, you nailed it ! How many fishing poles, does a one legged man need? I have 8. My answer is always, let's go up in closet, and count your shoes... Fishing poles are like shoes, need different ones, for different occasions. My wife tells me, when she finds out about a fishing seminar somewhere, or what sales paper, from BPS has in it, that I should look at. I, too have been married 37 years... I'm blessed and grateful for her & never let her forget it, either ! My first born is 34. and have 5 more. I do forget their ages, because, they keep changing, lol Tight lines,

TRACKER OVERLOAD HELP !!!!!!!
Hind sight, 2020, They did offer. I ended up, putting $500.00 deposit on two boats. (Late, 2, they had in 2014's) One was 90hp 2-stroke and second was the one, I ended up with 90hp, 4-stroke. Bass Pro Shop, great place with very helpful staff. That I mean.... All I wanted, at that time, was to be able to stand and cast. Under $70,000.00. I bought the biggest/lonest of their line of aluminum boat, Nitro Z-9 was first choice, but after looking at the one used one they had for 32K, thing was not cared for by previous owner. Didn't think, I would want, all the bells and whistles. I caught, a lot of bass, being the worm..5" black and some Costa Glasses. .After 3-4 months of using it on the ponds and lakes, started finding guys, like you'll, that already knew, what was good, better, best on rods, reels, lures, tackle, and boat up-grades. Know, now what overload means. Great info, really NEEEEEEED IT! Thanks, for all your input.

TRACKER OVERLOAD HELP !!!!!!!
Thanks carlm01, Don't get me wrong. Bass Pro shop service department has been nothing but, Excellent !!! Never side stepping or fast talking, even bumped, my repairs ahead of others, that were in work bays. They moved, like 8 boats out of the way to fix, my boat, before my trip to South Carolina, the next day. Told me factory, air power grease gun setting was off, that's why trailer rear bearing seal were blown out. Took care of it. I was always told, and tell me children: If man makes it, It can break down. I love my Tracker, it's an aircraft carrier, and looking forward, (with ya'll help), to making it equipped, with all high-end components, that will not need to be replaced, after my learning curve. Great stuff

TRACKER OVERLOAD HELP !!!!!!!
No Remorse, I researched new v/s used, for like over a year. I didn't know what a, Ranger, Phoenix, or Basscat. was. After that sticker shock, surfed Craigslist, meeting guys, that were ready to up-grade, and were selling. After hearing, their pride, in, what they fixed and replaced on the rigs they were selling. What I learned was, Man, I'm out of my league! That Tracker 5 yr.( bumper-to-bumper ) warranty and name recognition was why, I bought new, coupled with the fact, that didn't have to order. I'm having a blast learning, all this and interacting with guys like you. Thanks for everything. No, I just thought The flagship of Tracker "Tin Boats" guts/inners . Would or should be able to accept up-grades, without completely re-wiring the whole boat and re-configuring everything. I like re- inventing the wheel. Keeps me busy. (Mind, Body, Spirit) Glad, I have met up with folks like you, that, take the time, out of their lives,to help others. As always Thanks,
