  1. what is airborne? and just to reiterate, taking ibuprofen while drinking is a very bad idea. It can cause bleeding in your stomach which is worse than any hangover.
  2. holy cow, the head on that thing is MASSIVE
  3. those are some beautifully colored fish.
  4. i would guess between 5 and 7lbs
  5. Yeah, generally it's a good idea to wait before you install any major upgrades like Explorer, new service packs, etc... just to let other people find the mistakes before you do...
  6. yeah, but for every picture you post, it makes it slower for people using dial up. So I think it would probably considerate of the dial-up users if only relevant pictures were posted.
  7. thanks for the report...
  8. what's with the eagle pic?
  9. it's the same in many bodies of water in VA as well.
  10. "door hinge" rhymes with "orange" it's not one word, but usually the rule of rhyming is that both words have to have the same number of syllables, so it doesn't really matter.
  11. these are terrible, terrible ideas. You should never take an ibuprofen medication if you have been drinking. From what I have learned, the true cause of a hangover isn't really known, but many think it can be caused by dehydration (for every 12 ounces of beer you drink, you lost 48 ounces of liquid in urine) so the best advice I can give you if you insist on drinking is to drink lots of water along with the beer or during the hangover.
  12. The same thing happened to our lake here on campus at James Madison University. I heard they drained it like 5 years ago and found a dozen kegs and a truck...This year I discovered that the lake has a healthy population of fish including a few crappie, tons of bluegills, some shiners, a ton of carp (plenty around 15lbs) and a good population of up to 2.5-3lb bass! The extra surprise with this lake is that being fed by a creek that runs through the city of Harrisonburg and campus, it is often times very polluted. There is a lot of trash floating in it and the water often times looks very stagnant and gross.
  13. "Chi" by Mos Def or Talib Kweli, i can't remember.

do you have any pictures? I've never seen an eel on a hook.
  17. definately a good idea. When I fish for carp, I have to walk them down the bank to some place where I can get close to the water and then I gotta try to grab them with one hand while I hold the rod up with the other. When you get those bigger carp, it's really hard to wrap your hand around them so I almost always end up just grabbing the pliers and releasing them without getting them out of the water. I actually think my dad has a net, I might have to steal it...
  18. Don't worry if they bleed a little. It's usually caused by the hook and because they have soft fleshy mouths, unlike a bass.
  19. i wish i had a net when I go carp fishing, that would come in handy
  20. what kind of camera did you use to take that? is that the original or do you have the original in a bigger size? I would love to get that picture in a larger size to use as my background.
  21. happened to me with a carp one time. If you can't get off the pier to some ground to land it, then i would think the only option is heavier line.
  22. holy crap! nice work man! that's one good day.
  23. I've had success with the Booyah Blade in double coloradoes in a blueish/chartruese/white color.
  24. i don't see why the SEC needs to play non conf. games...their conference has the most good teams. other teams in other conferences may play out of conference more, but that doesn't mean their opponents are as good.
  25. Matt, you think the SEC is overrated? They may have some weak teams, but they also have a ton of really good teams. LSU, Auburn, Florida, Tennessee, Georgia, you could possibly add USC and Arkansas (after the way they have played this year). Most of these teams have been ranked in the top 25 for most of the recent years. I really don't think any other conference has as many good teams as the SEC. MAYBE the Big 10, but that's a big MAYBE. and jbfromtexas, we all thought the same thing about WV last year, that they had no wins over good opponents. And then they came and beat a solid Georgia team from the SEC (a team that was much better than this year's Georgia) Brushpile, 3 TDs IS a spanking. And Texas beating those teams by 40+ points isn't really admirable considering the fact that they are teams like RICE....
