You are correct but at the time of the ticket, it is not the burden of the warden to PROVE anything. Suspicion is enough to warrant a ticket, whether you like it or not.

I would have given you a ticket. Then I would have showed up to court and had a laugh, at your expense, when the judge tells you that a Kastmaster is a commonly recognized TROUT lure and you were insulting his intelligence by suggesting otherwise. I realize the lure catches any number of gamefish, but there is a difference between it and 7" power worm or even a dropshot bait. Either buy a stamp or fight the ticket when you eventually get one.

I like to take pictures of fish and other things when I am outdoors. I use a D40 and my wife uses it and a D5000. Some of her stuff is in the link in my signature. I think she has done a great job.

I am sure there can be a number of "what if's" and "how about this scenario," but in the OP's situation the fact remains that he is a 20 year old and the girl is 17. Where is the line drawn between what is an acceptable age difference and what is not? Only the people involved can make that call and, as I said, they will have to live with the decision and whatever (if any) consequences come from that decision. I will say it again to Rootbeer: Make a choice and live with it. It doesn't matter what our opinions are on the matter.

There aint really a problem with a 20 year old dating a 17 year old. Wow 2-3 year difference. It really is not that much. Tell that to her dad. Her parents already know my age, they trust her. Trust has nothing to do with it, age does. 18 is 18, no matter how much trust a parent has in their child. Dont ask for people's opinion on an internet fishing forum if you don't want to hear something other than, "Atta boy, you done good." Be a man, make your own decisions and then live with them. Simple as that.

For the record, I would worry more if she had older brothers. I can guarantee you that if a 20 year old was "hanging out" with my 17 year old sister, her little high school boyfriends would be the ABSOLUTE LEAST of your concerns. BTW, I don't kick... Find one that is 18 and don't worry about it.

Your experience with clackers differs from mine. I like something that makes more noise than a Cavitron does, as do other people. Doesn't make me, nor you, right or wrong.
