She understands how important it is to me and knows how irritable I can get after not being outdoors for extended periods of time. The thought of marriage was daunting at first, but when you know the girl you ask is committing to be your life partner, it has a surprisingly calming effect on you. Wayne

Well folks, its official..... As of yesterday around 3pm, I am engaged to the only woman I have ever loved. Fortunately for me, she said YES!!!! Afterwards, I did remind her that I have a fishing trip to attend next spring with some people I have never met When she said "that won't be a problem, you can do whatever you want," it only made it more apparent that I picked a good one. I have heard the 3x stuff is tough to keep on a jighead, have you tried one with a corkscrew in the jig head? It will probably be difficult to get started, but should stay there.

Well, last night I gave my two weeks notice to my second employer...Lowe's. The money I was making just didnt justify the amount of time I lost in the last 15 months. When I did my taxes, I figured that I worked more than 3100 hours last year. I got a few things paid off, bought some things that I needed and something for the g/f that I can cover in a later post For those of you out there still working a f/t and p/t job, my hat is off to you. For those of you considering it, I recommend against it unless it is out of necessity. Looks like there is some serious fishing to be done in the immediate future!!! Wayne
