  1. Pretty much every canal in broward has snakeheads
  2. Go snakehead fishing and peacock fishing, imo more fun than bass fishing.
  3. Im going tomorrow, I fish for peas a lot up in palm beach county but idk what to expect with these miami peas. Im gunna bring live bait even though 99% of the time i'm against using live bait but I'm Looking to break a pb. When I lure fish for peas though I usually use a jerkbait working it as fast and eratically as possible. Using crappie jigs can also be really good if you're sight fishing or near structure.
  4. true thats why most people gill them, idk if thats worse for the fish than lipping them
  5. Has anyone fished Paradise lake in Boca Raton? It's really residential and you probaby can't fish it well without putting a jon boat in. I scouted it out the other day and it looks really nice so I'm just curious if anyone has fished it.
  6. It's been pretty d**n tough, only caught a few dinks fishing a baby brush hog super slow.
  7. I fish a canal that is overloaded with big mullet, the average mullet I see probably 3- 6 pounds. I was just wondering if anyone knew if this hurts the bass fishing?
  8. Google Maps is your best friend
  9. Isn't the El Rio connected to Lake Ida? I typically advocate catch and release for Snakehead, but I would have killed that guy.
  10. The snakeheads are also thriving up there, when a bad cold comes they will all be gone though. I reccomend the Hillsoboro canal, there's a lot of quality bass in there and I feel like it isn't pressured that much. You can also catch snakeheads and I've been seeing a few peacocks coming into the canal lately. It has really good bank access but some stretches have really high banks.
  11. Yea when the canals are flowing the fishing is always good for me at least.
  12. Around what are in Palm beach are you? Palm Beach county covers Boca to Jupiter and Belle Glade...
  13. Just get an abu garcia black max combo, cheap and is really good for the price.
  14. I fish straight braid 90% of the time and I don't think fish care for it at all even in clear water.
