  3. just goes to show that the NFL was right on the money with the punishment they doled out. however, jones does not seem to have gotten the message.
  4. while cleaning the house w/my two kids, one of our 8 kittens (anybody in SC want one?) got a crappie hook in his lip! the kids were crying, i couldn't find my wire cutters, had to call the wife at work and have her come home with a pair from work. she got home and we cut the hook then extracted it and the kitten is no worse for wear other than a sore lip. whew! btw, the cat was actually fairly cool about it once i had him in my hand. no squalling or spastic behavior, which was good for me. and the best part...i am my kids hero again!
  5. AMEN brother! i love her to death, but c'mon...there has to be a place for me to go w/out the ladies.
  6. CroCop hit the mat like he had been shot! awesome, most brutal KO i have EVER seen.
  7. Wisdom isn't dead! that was a good one.
  8. my twin brother had 2 removed at once in '84. he couldn't continue with contact sports, but other than that he is much better. prior to the operation, he walked in a very odd posture, we used to call him "pringles" because it looked like he was walking with a potato chip up his a** and was afraid to break it.
  9. Outstanding story. hopefully, we should all learn lessons from our kids. they can teach us alot. all we have to do is listen once in a while.

  12. thought that this news was justice for us. Source: News channel 19 (columbia, sc) website. (Winton, NC) -- One of two PETA workers on trial for animal cruelty has taken the witness stand in her own defense. Adria Hinkle testified this morning about her history at PETA, her training in euthanasia and conditions at animal shelters in North Carolina. She said euthanasia was, in her words, "a necessity." Under questioning from her lawyer, Hinkle recalled the events of June 15th, 2005, when she was arrested. She described one dog with two collars cutting into its skin. As she began sobbing, she told the court that she euthanized the dog. Hinkle described PETA's efforts to improve conditions at animal shelters through the program with which she worked. She's on administrative leave from People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals and has moved back to Kansas City to be near her family. Hinkle and Andrew B. Cook are each charged with 21 counts of animal cruelty after police say the pair dumped several bags of dead animals into a trash bin.
  13. i also have to say that lily pads are my favorite...there is nothing like dropping a senko or frog into the holes and watching that explosion!
  14. i have a great fear of stupidity. more specifically, stupid people and what they can accomplish in large groups.
  15. wow LBH...outstanding video! i see that if you aren't fishing or working, you're putting together video compilations... i know because you had to practice to get that polished!
  16. there is no cure for being a senkoholic. the first step toward recovery is admitting you have a problem. we just have to deal with it. does anyone know a good 12 step program?

  19. i have to give the props to my dad...James Robert Cooper 12/25/27 - 1/13/02...when we moved from michigan to south carolina in 1973. i was seven years old and we made the major move for his health, his heart condition couldn't take the severe cold weather in MI. he took over running a small convenience store on lake marion in Santee, SC. we lived about 100 ft. from the water's edge. i got bit by the bug and haven't recovered. thanks dad.
  20. i lucked into finding how productive the Junebug color can be this summer. was looking for a small dark worm and thought i would try the one i had never used. landed about 8 with it that day. good color for lures.
  21. strictly recreational. i have never fished a tourny. my job as a coach (football, wrestling, track) has me being competitive all year long. what i try to do in my spare time is NOT be competitive (to the best of my ability)
