  1. I dont think that would be a problem.
  2. I have a tourney there in April. I'll let you know how it goes. I also have a night tourney in July.... As for restraunts, their is one that is absolutely CRAP, but their is another that is AMAZING....so it's just a gamble where you go.
  3. Agree with these statements 100%. Some trout fishermen are so ignorent (sp?). I fish a very populair trout stream (Bennett Springs) and the fly fishermen are just plain stupid. There is a trail that runs along the stream where people can walk down stream and go do dif. fishing spots, etc. Well the guys with the fly rods are always whipping their flies 10 ft. past the trail!! And they turn around and look at you like YOUR the idiot! I have gotton hooked 5 times. 3 times in the hat, 1 time in the shirt sleeve, and 1 time in the collar of my t-shirt. Every time, the person has looked behind them and knew I was walking behind them. When I got hooked in the t-shirt, I had had it...and so had my buddy. We just totally went off on the guy......I turned into a whole dif. person.
  4. HAHAHAHA!!! I'm actually laughing!!! Funny thing is, I just watched a Family Guy episode where they said somthing like that. Great idea too!

Yeah, this is a tough one. It's a pretty lure tho.
  8. Wow, thats terrible. It could have been much worse tho.
  9. Yeah. I treat them as nice as I can. You never know what tomorrow brings. For instance, one time I was prefishing in this cove and their is a small hump that carries a load of bass (usually). A couple of guys (looked like a father and adult son) saw that I wanted to test it out and see if it would be good for the next day...Well, I saw that they were catching some, so I just went on. The next day, I showed up, and the same 2 people were there. I was pretty discouraged, because I knew I could catch fish. I started to go past it again, and all of a sudden out of no where the older man yells and said that he saw me yesterday, and being that I was fishing a tournament (I had my tourney shirt on) I could have the spot.....See, what goes around comes around.

  15. Here is what an article in BASS Times says: " Whenever discussions surrounding the bass spawn arise, questions about angling ethics and conservation quickly follow. Chris Horton, BASS National Conservation Director, has wrestled with these questions often. ' The issue of catching bass off their spawning beds is an ongoing controversy that is more of a personal dilemma than a documented biological problem. The underlying question is not whether catching fish from a nest will result in poor spawning success for that individual nest but whether or not there will be impacts at the population level,' explained Horton in a previous column that appeared in BASS Times. Horton believes it comes down to two words: carrying capacity. ' A body of water has a finite amount of cover, space and forage available for young bass. Even on lakes where no angling is allowed, relatively few individuals survive to their first birthday, and those that do are a result of their ability to secure the needed habitat requirements. If survival in one nest is decreased, survival rates from other nests likely increase because forage and cover that would have been partitioned to the offspring of the failed nest are now available for other bass fry.' Horton concludes: 'Until there is proof that catching spawning bass harms the overall bass population, the decision to do so is purely personal.' I for one am 100% for it.
  16. Actually FLW Mag. has a big article about it.
  17. ME TOO! I got absolutely nothing except for a picture with Denny Braur.
  18. Someone told me (or I may have read it in a magazine) that the bass cant tell between a plastic lizard and a plastic worm. The onlything diff. is that the lizard puts off more vibration.
  19. I use both, but their is nothing as good as the original.
