- I would save your money on the backpack. I have found that a regular ol' backpack works great for my tackle needs. - BPS has a nice 2-piece Bionic Blade rod that goes on sale periodically. - St. Croix Premier comes in 2-piece too - When stuck on shore, I really enjoy wading. If it's safe near you I would def. recommend it.

I saw a video of this recently on-demand and it looks awesome! My sister-in-law is Argentinian and my family is due to take a trip down there in the next few years. I am def. gonna try and go for some Golden Dorado. My dream trip would probably be one of the Mexico big bass lakes with my Dad.

I will be taking a family vacation in Ft. Lauderdale Feb. 13 - 20th. I am planning to sneak off for a day on Okeechobee. If any of you have a boat and room for a partner I would love to fish with you one day - I'll bring lunch, pitch in for gas, etc. If anyone doesn't have a boat, but knows the area and would like to split a boat rental that would work too. I caught a really nice-sized dead bass My line caught another line so I pulled it in by hand and sure enough a nice size bass that was totally white and dead. Someone must have caught it and fought it and the line snapped and the fish died.

The Ozmo became my confidence bait this year. When no other plastics worked, the ozmo worked. By the end of the season I was throwing this primarily. I caught smallmouth and largemouth with it. I really like the greens personally. FYI, it tears easily and doesn't last for too many caught fish - but it's inexpensive and easily worth the money IMO.

Don't forget who owns ESPN... Disney.

After you apply the deet, cover your skin with a layer of megastrike. ;D
