Although I use a Finesse Worm often, a split shot up the line of a T-Rig Fluke has convinced many bass as well.

Sorry for the confusion ..... I prefer the actual Fluoro Leader material which is designed to be much more abrasion resistant than regular fluoro spool line.

I use the Plano 3601 Thin ProLatch Stowaway Box for 90% of my gear .... the larger lures - Deeper Diving Crankbaits, Spinnerbaits, Swimbaits etc. get larger boxes. They are set up by Type. I use way to many boxes ....

I always use a Fluorocarbon Leader material designed for that purpose .... I prefer the Maxima Fluorocarbon Leader. I do not use Fluorocarbon Line for leader material.

When the boys from Maine have ice out, Southern New Brunswick should be open as well.

I started my sons on small fish that i was certain would be biting .... perch, chub, brook trout. From shore .... bring a bucket so you can let the fish swim it. From boat .... place fish in live well or bucket. When the bite slows down, they entertain themselves watching the fish swim. They also get to catch them and put them back in the water. This is bringing back great memories. My boys are now 18 and 21, but still cant out fish dad. .... well maybe some days. And yes, keeping them in the bucket for the kids to play with may have broke a law or two.

I use a black sharpie 100% of the time (the bigger the marker the better) ....... about 10ft of line. That Alberto Knot tied correctly will do the job perfectly .... A yard of leader is a good starting point ..... You may find conditions or methods that warrant the leader to be longer, just keep the knot of the spool when reeled in for casting.

This lake will not beat me (again)!!!!! @Ratherbfishing Like most lakes, it will probably get you again, hopefully not so often. I wish I just had one lake that kicks my butt ... Good luck sir .... some good advice already given.
