Can anyone give me some tips on bank fishing in the Midwest

I only fishing I can do right now is fish from the bank lines I have not had much luck with plastic baits and tips on how to catch more fish

This is a great topic we have a lot of bank fisherman. I am one it seems like we forgot about bank fishing we have a lot of fun on the banks thanks

Hello just signed up. I live in Illinois have fished for many years I stopped because life got in the way. I started again and I realised what I was missing. I have a 1 year old granddaughter and I take her with me from time to time I also have 2 older daughters and a niece who live with me and we all got together. It is great fishing again.
