Whatever I feel like at that moment or looks most natural. Allen
  3. Had an owl pick up my jitterbug and fly off once but luckily he didn't get the hooks. Allen
  4. Who are they laying off? SK lures are made in Costa Rico. Allen
  5. Never had any luck on the Vixen or Rewpoman for some reason. My favorite new walking bait is the wooden Sammy as it is more subtle in the water. Allen

I wasn't inferring that his jigheads were of low quality only that he sells them as a board sponsor. Allen

Check with siebertoutdoors (His link is on the right of this page) first. Allen
  8. Harbor Freight sells the cheapest one I know of it is like $60. Allen https://www.ebay.com/itm/Tattoo-Nail-Tool-Kit-Dual-Action-Spray-Gun-Airbrush-0-2-0-3-0-5mm-Needle-Art-Set/202525945361?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649 This is the gun I am currently using. Allen
  9. Currently I am using a $12 airbrush from Ebay that is Chinese made. Actually works better than my $170 Iwata. Just get the .5 size tip as it is the best overall. Allen
  10. You can powder coat them then spray the throats etc. with a airbrush. Clear over them with Devcon 2 ton 30 minute epoxy or Sally Hansen hard as nails fingernail polish. Allen
  11. Decided to take my tacklemaking to a whole new level and bought a spincast machine. For those who do not know what it is I have a pic below of a spincast mold. Basically it spins around and lead is forced into the cavities. I can go from hand pouring 50 lead baits an hour to hundreds. Allen
  12. Only downside to this hook besides cost is they rust easily. Allen
  13. Update: I have found that using these little hair clips keeps all the strands together and out of the way for tying. Allen
  14. Go to Columbia Coatings for powder paint, they have hundreds of colors. Allen
  15. Cheap oven $20 at Ollies and I prefer wire tying as I suck at wrapping thread. If you want to know how to wire tie I did a tutorial on it just look for the thread. Allen
  16. If it is a bottom contact jig then PC all the way. I only airbrush swim jigs as they will be running through grass not rocks. Allen
  17. Vise grips. Allen
  18. Black and blue (blue is hard to see) chatterbaits I made recently. Allen
  19. Is it chenille #5? I prefer London Gentlemen myself. Allen
  20. I have a bunch of misc jigheads laying around if interested? Trying to clean up my basement so I need to get rid of a bunch of stuff. Allen
  21. It is tough to match when you just get sent a pic isn't it? Allen
  22. Check with Seibert on here and he can sell you just the jigheads. I recommend getting them painted but have him leave the weedguards out. You can glue the weedguards in after you tie the jigs. Fishingskirts.com will have 100's of different colors of skirt material. Allen
