The Found Lures Thread
Best lure I have found is a SPRO BBZ on Black Hills Lake Seneca. I thought it was a dead fish until I got closer. Allen

Pit boss, I am late to the party, just took the right size lol
I fish them on a T-Rig with a bullet weight and so far they work but not as well as a smallie beaver. Allen

Zoom Swimmin Fluke Jr
I started making my own weighted hooks in order to meet my needs. When I get a chance I will post some pictures of what I made. Allen

Ideal Swim Jig Trailer Length ?
About 4" is the best overall for the reasons you described. The 3.8" Fat Impact and 4" Pline Kick-R minnow are the two I use most. Allen

Strategy to buying tackle
Yes, the one at Gambler Fire Hall and the Boonsboro Ag Center are the two I hit. Allen

Getting companies to produce cheap alternatives to lead
One of my ongoing projects is to create a tungsten powder/epoxy jighead like Keitech. The tungsten powder was like $60 for a pound so it is not cheap. Allen

Strategy to buying tackle
I highly recommend fishing Flea Markets as you can pick up a lot of stuff cheap. Picked up 15 Bandit cranks this year for $10 and a freezer bag full of Fat Ikas for $5. Allen

Getting companies to produce cheap alternatives to lead
Tungsten is probably worse for the environment than lead. Allen

Lake bardwell record bass caught on McD's nugget
Are we sure it wasn't a knock off nugget from Wendy's? Allen

Can anyone identify...
I don't have any and I am thinking they are from a Japanese company? Looked on Ichiban Tackle and did not see any. Allen

Good swimbaits
A lot of good suggestions here for baits as they cover what I use. I would like to add that the 4/0 Owner weighted hook below works great for these baits. The weight is just enough to keel the bait and if you need more weight just use a bullet sinker. Allen

Can anyone identify...
I have seen this bait before but cannot remember where? Let me look around and see what I can find. Allen

More Bass Species than I'd Thought
You need to catch a few spots before they are recognizable. The craziest one I have caught was a meanmouth bass which is a spot/smallmouth hybrid. Allen

First boat for under $1,000 - Nice kayak or old aluminum boat?
Borrow someone else's Kayak and try it out first to see if it will work for you. I have a back injury from a parachute jump in the Army that still gives me problems. My wife bought me a Kayak and it is painful to sit in after about 15 minutes. Allen

Flick shake worm
Here is one of the jigheads I made for flick shakes. Allen I had problems with the original Do-It molds where the hooks bent out and the wire guatds broke using a ml rod and a 6lb line. Allen
