  1. Zoom swamp crawler is what I have been using lately. Allen
  2. That is what I was thinking as well. Allen
  3. Like Tom I use 12lb Big Game and have zero problems walking any lure except a Jackall Mudfish. Allen
  4. Best lure I have found is a SPRO BBZ on Black Hills Lake Seneca. I thought it was a dead fish until I got closer. Allen
  5. I fish them on a T-Rig with a bullet weight and so far they work but not as well as a smallie beaver. Allen
  6. I started making my own weighted hooks in order to meet my needs. When I get a chance I will post some pictures of what I made. Allen
  7. About 4" is the best overall for the reasons you described. The 3.8" Fat Impact and 4" Pline Kick-R minnow are the two I use most. Allen
  8. Try this 4/0 3/32oz weighted hook. Allen
  9. Size 4 is what came on the RC's and I would guess the 300's are the same. Allen
  10. Try a larger bait as the two you mentioned are harder to walk because of their size. Allen
  11. Yes, the one at Gambler Fire Hall and the Boonsboro Ag Center are the two I hit. Allen
  12. One of my ongoing projects is to create a tungsten powder/epoxy jighead like Keitech. The tungsten powder was like $60 for a pound so it is not cheap. Allen
  13. I highly recommend fishing Flea Markets as you can pick up a lot of stuff cheap. Picked up 15 Bandit cranks this year for $10 and a freezer bag full of Fat Ikas for $5. Allen
  14. Tungsten is probably worse for the environment than lead. Allen
  15. My favorite shallow running jerkbaits are LC Pointer SR and a floating Rogue. Allen
  16. The two you mentioned work better for me than the Giant Dogx. Allen
  17. You know you guys just cost me some money with that link. Allen
  18. Trying to remember as well? Closest things I can find right now are the Big Bites Baits Real Deal Craw and the Yamamoto Psycho Dad. Allen
  19. Are we sure it wasn't a knock off nugget from Wendy's? Allen
  20. I don't have any and I am thinking they are from a Japanese company? Looked on Ichiban Tackle and did not see any. Allen
  21. A lot of good suggestions here for baits as they cover what I use. I would like to add that the 4/0 Owner weighted hook below works great for these baits. The weight is just enough to keel the bait and if you need more weight just use a bullet sinker. Allen
  22. I have seen this bait before but cannot remember where? Let me look around and see what I can find. Allen
  23. You need to catch a few spots before they are recognizable. The craziest one I have caught was a meanmouth bass which is a spot/smallmouth hybrid. Allen
  24. Borrow someone else's Kayak and try it out first to see if it will work for you. I have a back injury from a parachute jump in the Army that still gives me problems. My wife bought me a Kayak and it is painful to sit in after about 15 minutes. Allen
  25. Here is one of the jigheads I made for flick shakes. Allen I had problems with the original Do-It molds where the hooks bent out and the wire guatds broke using a ml rod and a 6lb line. Allen
