Rubber Fins/tails For Swimbaits
Plastisol comes in different levels of hardness, for a swimbait tail I would try the saltwater formula. Allen

Maryland's Who's who!
Greenbrier is hard fishing, you will catch 40 10" fish then a 5lber but not a lot of average size fish. Cunnigham Falls is better than Greenbrier and all the good spots are easy to hit from shore. Allen

Finesse Jigs Flare
I agree with the above statement but think that weedguard is wrong. Allen

I don't like them biting off $20 jerkbaits Beavis.

Maryland's Who's who!
It has beeen 4 or 5 years since I caught a Tiger Musky at BH. I know everyone likes to try and catch one but for me they are a pain anymore. Allen

Favorite Spinnerbait Brand?
Honestly I got tired of buying a $6 spinnerbait and then having to re-build it to what I wanted. Now I just make my own the way I want them in the first place (The one in my avatar I made). Allen

Maryland's Who's who!
Black Hills it depends on the day? The club I fish had a tournament there the same day as FOBA and it looks like the D-Day invasion with all those boats at the ramp. Allen

How Do I Get Involved With Tournaments?
Look into your state BASS and see if they have a junior division. There is one here and some of the kids fishing are like 9yrs old. Allen

Yes, I caught one out of a pond on FT. Leonard Wood, Missouri about 10 years ago. Allen

Maryland's Who's who!
After seeing the pics of the fish from Lake Linganore I had to look it up. Now I found a $600k house that I want to buy that has its own boat ramp. Allen

Maryland's Who's who!
I hope BH is fishing better than Rocky Gap? I fished a tournament their last Saturday and managed 12 non-keepers which was very disappointing. Allen

Color Combos.
I have at least 150 different colors of skirts from fishingskirts, Barlows, Janns, etc. and can tell you this. You worry more about the colors than the fish do? Anymore I use maybe 5 or 6 colors at most for jigs. Now there are days that a particular color will work better but the other 98% of the time simple colors work. I use solid black, green pumkin, brown, shad or a combination of them most of the time. Changing trailer colors is a lot easier than carring 200 different jig colors. Allen

Funny looking Bass? Willie says you now have to get back to making duck calls. Allen

Maryland's Who's who!
Mark and Phil left the tournament early because they hadn't caught any keepers. I spoke with Phil at Dick's and he said they fished the; Slackwater tournament Saturday morning, Rocky Gap in the evening and then Riverbottom Sunday morning. That is some dedication to fish 3 tournaments in two days! Mark and Phil are the guys I am usually trying to beat. Allen

Maryland's Who's who!
11lbs was the largest winning weight out of the 5 I have fished. That place is tough to fish and since it doesn't take much weight to win everyone has a chance. Saturday I missed 1st by 5 ounces and only had 3 fish. What frustrated me was all the 11" fish I caught. Allen

Maryland's Who's who!
4.6lbs for 5 fish won I was third with 4.16 for 3 fish and tied for lunker at 2.55lbs. There were about 25-30 boats and like the post above it was really tough fishing. I caught about 20 short fish which was very frustrating when trying to fill out a 5 fish limit. Allen

Maryland's Who's who!
Yes, I spoke with Sean and he said the 15 June tournament had to be moved to the 22 because of the MD DNR. Rocky Gap is tough to fish in the summer but so is Black Hills that everyone on here seems to like. I have fished 3 of these open tournaments over the past couple of years and done well. Allen

Maryland's Who's who!
Blairs Valley is easy to fish! Throw a Junebug senko at the riprap and if you cannt catch fish take up golf. I bought a new tow vechicle so I should be on the water again this Saturday. Allen

Maryland's Who's who!
I have a club tournament there next Sunday (Big Slackwater) so if you see a silver Xpress wave. Last Saturday I went down to pre-fish some since I have only been there once or twice this year. I caught a ton of fish but only two keepers. One was about a 13" SM but the first fish was a 21" LM that I would say was 5lbs (hoping I can catch it again in the tournament). Tonight I found them but am still not on the larger fish that I want. You can run your boat all the way until the first bend upriver from the game club. At that point it starts to get shallow and scary for a prop boat and the fishing isn't very good until you get up by the bridges anyway. Allen
