  1. My biggest problem when I first started, is that I forgot to check the hook point constantly. It seems like a simple thing, but it makes a big difference.
  2. Spinnerbait for sure.

I don't know how long you have been tying jigs. But from my own experience, the first jig I tied looks totally different than the ones I tie now. I think the only difference is their experience. Then again, I don't know how long you have been tying.
  4. I would think so... unless the pond has recently been stocked. When ponds are stocked, tons of fish are put into it.
  5. That's crazy
  6. Get a longer rod than a 6'3". I'd lok for a 7' or a 7'3". Excellent rods.
  7. I recently started using a dropshot. To be honest I thought it was a bunch of BS. Turns out, it catches fish. Hm
  8. "YES SIR" "There he is" "WHOOOH!" "Oh my" Sometimes, just for fun, I act like I set the hook like I'm deep sea fishing. Even though its just a regular hook set.
  9. PB&J colored jig. AMAZING
  10. One time, my friend was fishing from the front of the boat, and his line snapped while he was setting a hook. I felt bad because I thought he lost it. When the line snapped, it state on top of the water, and when he grabbed the bundle of line there was a 7.5#
  11. Buzzbait all the way
  12. I have recently started tying jigs. I have Todd a couple, but I am having trouble with color combinations. I get my stuff from fishingskirts.com. Does anyone else, that buys their stuff from fishingskirts.com, know any good combinations? Please don't just say "black and blue". If you can, please say the actual color.
  13. The mojo rig helps me when I'm in grass. It move through the thickest stuff flawlessly
