  1. My boat is a PT 175 Tracker and I try not to store much tackle in the boat itself. The system I use is 3600 plano boxes for all hardbaits, Falcon spinnnerbait and buzzbait boxes for SB and BB's, 1 gallon freezer bags for soft plastics seperated by type (ie creature baits, senkos, etc.). I hate digging through boat compartments trying to find tackle! I use a red BPS tackle bag and if I cannot catch fish on what I can fit inside I need to work harder at finding fish. Allen
  2. After several years of experimenting this is what I do. If say a green pumkin brush hog is working I will leave the bag out and place the creature bait ziblock freezer bag where I can easily get to it. Allen

I have been successful at breaking the lips off of their jerkbaits! :-? The jerkbaits will work but I have broke 3 of them so they will not be replaced. Allen
  4. I know he use to be real active on tackleunderground and other sites? Allen
  5. I have been hesitant to try some of the deeper divers so far but I have done well with the RC 1.5 so I plan on trying more this year. Allen

Part time I have been working on my degree for 10 years. Now I only have one class to go but they rarely offer it so I am fighting with the school. No matter how long it takes just remember that a study said that someone with a college degree will make over a millon dollars more than someone with just a high school education. Allen
  7. Depending on the time of year? Bandit crankbait, white spinnerbait or a LC jerkbait. Allen
  8. And now for the disorganized! ;D I guess I do not have as much free time as some of you? Maybe the Natural can stop by my house and organize my tackle for me? Allen
  9. Now I do not feel as bad about being a tackle buyer! Let me see if I can find the digital camera? Allen
  10. I have been reading up on rodbuilding and I have a question about getting started? Right now I plan on getting the Flex Coat DVD but will this DVD explain; guide size and spacing, wrapping, and the other basic stuff? I am looking at rod kits but do not like the components that come with them so is there somewhere that I can find out what I need for a 6'6" ML spinning rod? Final question, is there any rod builders that I can order the parts from? BTW: I checked out ReelMechs site and he has a lot of great stuff on there about rodbuilding! Allen

Home made molds do work but like anything else they take practice. I can create new baits out of clay(dollar store) then use that as a master for a mold. Allen
  12. That last time I check it was about $80 worth? Right now I am looking a charging my $15,000 kitchen remodel to get some serious points. Allen
  13. I have never had any fall out of the slots? I do shove buzzbaits in the spaces in front and behind the spinnerbaits though. Allen
  14. That looks like a tube in the pic? While I have not tried the craw worm yet I can tell you the jig trailer works very well. Allen
  15. The only one I can get to work is a Lunker lure one in white that I found about 3 years ago. I have a SK, Glamour shad and a couple others but the only one that seems to work is a white Lunker lure one that squeaks so bad it hurts my ears! Allen
  16. http://www.***.com/descpage-FTO701.html This is what I use and so far it works better than anything else I have used. Are you talking about bigmouth spinnerbaits or something else? Spinnerbaits are a PIA to store but I love fishing them so I had to find a way. Allen
  17. Since I quit my sport compact car hobby and focus completly on fishing I have a few baits? You may have a baitmonkey problem if you answer yes to any of the following questions: 1. You have more lures than you can physically carry. 2. You buy lures that you already have 3 or more of just in case they decide to quit making them. 3. You have any lures that had to be airmailed from Japan. 4. You have Japanese translation software so you can try to order more lures from Japan (Raul this one is probably you?) I will add to this list as things come to me. Allen
  18. Like someone said you are only going to use a small percentage of the lures you bring but I like to be prepared. I use a BPS tackle bag and will switch 3600 plano boxes our according to conditions. There were several days last year that I only fished the baits that were tied on my rods already. Allen
  19. I use the Falcon spinnerbait box and it is the best system yet for storing baits. Allen

5/16 Eakins with a smal craw trailer. Allen
  21. Step 1 is admitting you have a problem so I am not going to say or count. What I can tell you is at last count I had 42 of my favorite bandit crankbait (hey, they may stop making them so I stocked up) and 27 LC pointers in my favorite color. Allen
  22. Daiichi death traps I believe these are what come factory on LC baits. Allen
  23. I use a 2/0 trailer hook most of the time unless they are clobbering the bait or I am getting hung a lot. Allen
