  1. Je suis d’accord merci à tous : I agree thanks everyone
  2. So they are just normal reservoirs and not flatland? My question that was poorly asked was what type of reservoir would you say they are?
  3. Curious does this offer anything different from the current square bills? I have pro blue jerkbaits packed but was wondering for spring if I should go pro blue 2 which has a orange belly
  4. Iowa lake types are a little confusing to me. When I read about reservoirs I think Iowa lakes are design as a flatland reservoir. When I look on the dnr site they label them as just reservoir. They are small 880 acre lakes Water depth around 52 deepest/mean depth /17 I would say this is a close avg on most our lakes Big creek lake is one of the lakes also 3- mile lake if these examples help So what would you label these lakes
  5. I have tons of worms robo worms, Trick worm and netbet t-Mac worms all sizes all natural colors, but no true floating worms is there a difference are there worms you can use for a floating worm that is not marketed for it?
  6. that must be it! A+ comment
  7. Thank you for taking the time, this is hard for me since I have to teach myself and I feel like maps etc are the big secret in people sharing even basic info
  8. this is fluorocarbon 10lb .0102 .26 12lb .0112 .29 Mono Line Dia. 10lb 12lb 14lb 16lb 20lb 25lb Inches .0 10 .0 11 Millimeters .260 .285 I'm trying to understand diameters on line and how some sizes up or down really doesn't move to much to justify going down in lb test. Here are two examples I found from what I understand is it, on both examples one jumps up 10 (fluorocarbon) mono (20) so question is do you think it makes a difference going from 10-12 with this data if not I’m curious on why 10 sales Baits if that matters are jerkbaits, worm/ finesse tactics
  9. so even the smaller coves on the bottom are consider a Tributary creek?
  10. (senseid) A natural water stream that flows into a larger river or other body of water. A nation, state, or other entity that pays tribute. is the definition I found when googling what this exactly is. I live in Iowa and I don't think many of my lakes if any have this would this sound about right? We don't have a river that flows into a lake and I'm guessing a taller hill area wouldn't count after a rain so do some of the smaller lakes just not have these, OR am I misunderstanding the term? I only ask this question because in the books I'm reading it talks like this is a very common thing
  11. How far back are you going?
  12. So I've always used tungsten and love it but heard there was an actual advantage to lead and that is that it is soft and easier to get out of the rocks. That does make sense but is it worth it?
  13. His social media post that him and his wife make is why I can see megabass easily dropping him. Also 3 rods out of how many? That being said it is a very nice thing and anything is better than none so major props to for that
  14. personally wouldn't be surprised if megabass dumped him
  15. I thought it started when a leader of a bassmaster tournament 0 after carrying bananas on the boat well atleast started in the bass fishing world
  16. What size hook am I looking for some I found are 2/0 I'm thinking for the 4 inch hula and the 5 inch hula a 3/0 is what I'm looking for right or?
  17. They have yet to get back to me let me know if you hear back
  18. Lead master seems not to sell the wire guard football jig but lunker city seems nice
  19. Do you think the hook will be thin enough for med-med hvy rod
  20. Looking for light wire football jig with a wire guard for my hula grubs I notice all yamamoto football jig heads with a weed guard are sold out so looking for something to replace it.
  21. To my knowledge I don’t think shiners or suckers or in there but I don’t know for sure. I was thinking it will mimic a baby or smaller bass but is that productive enough. Many people will say try it and I’m going to but I do like to have these discussions to see what people have experienced
  22. What is everyones thoughts on a 5 inch boot tail swimbait shad color in lakes that have no shad ( yes I know every bait will work) but I'm talking about being productive enough for a tournament. I live in Iowa, our most common forage is crawfish/bluegill/frogs. lakes don't get very deep and usually have a thermocline in the summer. Cover depends on lake but very basic stuff brush, pond weed, some small areas with rock
  23. GREAT suggestion thank you on the zorro but sadly they are out of stock. Also thank you for the knowledge on making your own Curious how do you know the gauge of the wire?
  24. Seems like there are not many on the market. Where is the Bootah covert but I colors are not the greatest and only 3/8oz. Does anyone have any recommendations I’m think I’m just Buying blades and adjusting the ones I currently have.
