Phenix maxim 610 ml is a great bfs dropshot/ small jerkbait rod

i use a phenix maxim 610 ml with a curado 70 spooled with 10lb sniper. a little light action but works just fine for me

Dobyns 733 for the lighter ones, 734 for 3/8 and up

My opinion: shimano and Abu are top notch, that's all I'll ever use

3/8 ounce phenix chatterbait in "sexy bait" with a 3.8 keitech in "black shad". It's a killer!

I use a 3/8 phenix chatter in the "sexy bait" color. It's like a chartreuse sexy shad. I throw a 3.8 keitech in dingy water and its producing!!

Hey all, I was wanting some input. I'm thinking about buying a jdm scorpion 1500. I have a chronarch200e7, would the scorpion be a better reel? Or should I just get another chronarch or curado?
