Let's play a little game.  Let's build an extensive list of proven bass catchers.   Please put one specific lure only.   For example,  "Cavitron buzzbait", rather than "buzzbait".  Or 1 ounce Spot rather than 1 ounce rattlebait.

Just put one post per thread.  You certainly can describe the lure and tell stories to back you pick, such as "I love a 1/2 Cavitron buzzbait in  white.   I've used it for a decade.  I've caught bass up to 9 pounds", etc..  

You can put other lures after at least one other member has posted.

At the end, we will have an extensive list of proven baits.   Hopefully hundreds of proven fish slayers.  You can then narrow your selection of proven bass catchers and use those that work to your strengths, or expand on new horizons, such as various Alabama Rigs or California trout type swimbaits, etc.

ZOOM Ole Monster.   10.5" in your color of choice.  A proven bass catcher in my southeastern US lakes.   Texas rig it or Carolina rig it, and you will catch fish.

 

 

 

 

Strike King sexy dawg in the Bone color or sexy shad.

3/8 ounce phenix chatterbait in "sexy bait" with a 3.8 keitech in "black shad". It's a killer!

5" double tailed hula grub on a shakey head

Kinami Palm tree AKA Fat Ika

30' deep to on top of slop. Skipped under docks. Throw to weed edges and it falls at angle into the weeds even farther back. Walk the dog sub surface capable as well.

 

Netbait T-mac finesse worm

7 inch Berkley Power Worm in green pumpkin texas rigged and dragged thru small clumps of grass in deep water. It brings out the big sows.

Roboworm on a shaky head or drop shot. If there's fish, it'll catch them when nothing else can. 

Z-Man TRD  try it on a traditional Ned Rig.

3/8 dirty jigs swim jig char/white with a white rage craw or white rage grub. Fish it around wood, grass, docks. It gets it done. 

3/8 to 1/2 black and blue jig (your brand here)

Rebel Crawfish - simple and flat out catches bass of all sizes.  Slayed many a Crappie on it too.  

Rapala DT 6 in pearl grey shiner.

4" Keith EZ shiner in AYU on a yum money minnow swim bait hook. Killer all year, especially in the early spring. Make sure you get the extra strong squid scent.
