Those things will take a licking and keep on ticking. I've had my D2 for 8 or 9 years, still going strong. Likes the battery though. I had my last one for a few years. Left it in Missouri somewhere. I hear you on the battery consumption. Bought a box full of those.

The 7'2" MH FleXlite, Really? I use the 7' M FleXlite with a 7.1 reel but never considered trying the 7'2" MH. For me that combo works best. I primarily use it with a 1 oz Jackall Bowstick 130.

Flexlite 7'2" paired with a Zillion 6.1 is my dedicated walk the dog combo. Spooled with 55 lb braid and you are good to go.

Just dropped off Russ at the airport. Good times as always. We fished alot less than last time he visited, but had a great time hanging out and meeting some of my pals. Now he understands why I am how I am. ;D

Once the new car smell is gone, it's just another car. Although, this isnt really a new car, its a used car. Could be problems down the road that need to be fixed. Your current car seems to be just fine.
