Well I called Ranger, ordered the replacememnt seat. It's going to take 3-5 weeks to get, and let's just say I would have rather spent that money on another Steez rod. >

I don't know guys, I would have to disagree. The most sensitive rods in that price category from my seat of the pants use has to be a Fenwick Techna rod.

So I went to Kelsey yesterday and took my girlfriend. We got up a little late, we were in a hurry to leave, and I didnt realize that the rear seat was not in the pedestal hole. When we got to the lake, no rear seat. > Now I have to go order another one. Anyone have any contacts at Ranger Boats?

The Chronarch is a great little reel. I use it for light topwater lures myself, with a 6 ft. G Loomis GLX rod. The whole outfit weighs nothing...

I took a good look at the Okuma Swimbait rod at the Sportsmans Expo. Looks like a great rod for $99. My only complaint is that it feels like a broomstick. In fact, the broomstick is probably lighter.

I still have about 8 Shimano Chronarchs, some Metanium MG's, and a Calais. I think I need to sell them as well. All except the Metaniums though. I dig those reels.

I'm with you here Natural. It's not like bass take blisering runs anyways. The only reels I have deep spools on are my striper rigs.
