  1. Great points there Glenn, thank you!
  2. I had some work done on my old boat - I took it to a shop where the boat was lifted off the trailer. You may want to do that to get the best results.
  3. When I ordered my '07 Ranger, I had Richard the salesman pull out my old invoice from the 2000 Ranger 520 I had bought from him. The new boat was $20k more! It's amazing how pricey these boats are, to say the least. "Old" 2002 Ranger? That isn't old in my book....
  4. Come May, Lake Nacimiento here in central Cal. is just LOADED with white bass.
  5. There is NO WAY that is caused by exhaust. have that checked out pronto!
  6. I agree with the consensus. I don't really care for them and they seem to be more for muskie and trout.
  7. They look great, but honestly I think they are overpriced. I have a couple and am not sure if I will buy anymore. Fish don't care what we pay for our tackle.
  8. ReelMech, I have to send you some reels. Do I have to remove the line?
  9. I'll call LBH later and see if I can get an update from those guys.
  10. ;D I think I know those guys.
  11. sorry guys, but I've never seen these pics. That thing is huge!
  12. You have tons of options within your range of what you are looking for. Narrow it down to a couple great boats, have it imspected to make sure the bboat and motor are sound and go for it. Also I think that it is very cool that your fishing partner is your wife. I foresee a long and happy life together for you two.
  13. Ed, Put a supercharger in that bad boy and watch her come to life. I own a finance company here in CA.
  14. That is so great. I pray for an easy delivery for you and your wife.
  15. The car topped out at 211. I never had the car ona track, so the fastest I ever had it on a freeway was 165. The road was clear, flat, and no other cars were in the area. A new clutch on the car was a "reasonable" $4,000. Much less than other supercars. I had the car for 2 years, put 8600 miles on it and went through 2 oil changes. The clutch was still perfect at the end of my time with the car. I'd heard that others needed a new clutch as soon as 3,000 miles! That was a concern before I got the car but honestly at the end of my time with the car I had no issues to report what so ever. The break in service was free, and the second oil change at 4500 miles was free as well. I honestly don't know what the oil change costs.
  16. Every time seems excessive - once every 4 or 5 trips may be a better compromise.
  17. Great job! Nothing like doing it yourself and enjoying the results.
  18. Let's see some pics!
  19. Great fish, lookout for the fashion police on this website. ;D
  20. FB, Holy moly is right! I promise if you tell me where your spot is I won't divulge it to anyone.
  21. Wow. Great looking lake. I'll bet it's a handful when the wind starts blowing though.
