  1. What is it about this lure? I see them on Ebay going for close to $100.
  2. The sooner you get it done, the sooner it'll be over.
  3. No snickers bars?
  4. There are HUGE carp in one of the private lakes that I fish. The owner asks that we leave carp on the bank to die that we catch.
  5. All things considered, the Techna AV rods are the best rod for the money in my book. In my opinion they are almost as good as the GLX rods.
  6. Where did you read that the Zillion doesnt handle braids well? That is all I use and have never had any issues.
  7. I've heard nothing but great things about Sufix. I'm going to have to give it a shot.
  8. I have a Calais. The Steez will cast much farther and has a much more precise feel. I would say the Zillion is a much better match to the Calais and in my opinion, a much better reel than the Calais.
  9. If you compare the Curado next to a Zillion, you will see that there is a night and day difference. No offense to the Shimano guys here, as I was one before, but the Zillion is simply in a different league. It will cast a country mile and has a much more precise feel.
  10. If they aren't very big, I usually lift them with the rod. Anything 5 lbs or up I usually kneel dwon and grab them by the lip. I nevr flip them into the boat, mainly due to the fact that I want to be as gentle with the bass as possible.
  11. Something else to consider is that if you have been fishing the same body of water for 20 years, using similar baits, the fish may be on to you. I agree with RoadWarrior, Ikas' and Senkos' may be the ticket to your success.
  12. I dont think they would replace the rod for that, but I could be wrong. The two rods i have sent in to be replaced were broken about halfway down. You should call them first.
  13. That was good Muddy. I agree. You need to take the show to a stage. ;D

  15. I'm really sorry you lost your partner Muddy. I don't know what I'd do if I lost mine, who happens to be my dad. Some of my best memories growing up have been made on fishing trips with my dad. Through fishing and boxing, we are very close. The thought has crossed my mind, with him getting up in age, how hard it will be for me when is he gone. Greatfully we have made some fantastic memories, and I look forward to making more of them. Here's to all the dads out there!
  16. Where is that Burley?
  17. Nice. I know chubby girl joke but i will refrain from posting it. ;D
  18. The rods are also pretty amazing.
  19. Excellent. I also ordered the bearings from Japantackle, along with some other goodies. By the way Raul, I think the weight of the reel is 5.9 oz.
  20. Lizards and tubes work best for me.
  21. Yes, if you had insurance wouldnt they cover it?
