  1. a medium heavy mod-fast or medium fast I would suggest a rod from the Powell inferno line those are great rods for the money or a *** *** Black would be a great choice also. Hope this helps!
  2. I have 4 combos and I'm looking to add a couple I have Abu Garcia veracity rod with shimano curado 7'3 mh fast daiwa tatula xt fiberglass crankbait rod with lew's lfs speed spool 7ft medium Fen wick silver hawk lew's laser pro discontinued reel 130$ 7ft mod fast mh ml 6'6 spinning combo what are some more rods I should get thank you for any replies
  3. Get a daiwa tatula cranking rod they are fiberglass rods and are very sensitive loads great on the back cast. I really encourage you to get one and if your looking for a reel I would probably say Abu or lew's
  4. I'm looking for a flipping stick combo in 200-250 range any suggestions
  5. I would fish lakes but I can't drive yet but I'm gonna buy a boat when I can drive I'm glad I don't have to bike I drive a Polaris sportsman atv to the ponds and thanks for letting me be sure about the smoothness of a shimano
  6. I'm only 5'5 but I'm still growing I really just like to have a longer rod. I only occasionally hit the water with my 7'3 Here are the specs if you guys were wondering jig frog 7'3 medium heavy fast cranking 7' medium moderate spinnerbait chatterbait 7 mod fast Spinning 6'6 medium light fast
  7. I'd probably go with a mod fast just so could double for a top water rod you think about 7' long
  8. Yeah that would be the time to throw them for me because I live in Oklahoma and that's when the ponds don't have a lot of moss and they clear up quite a bit so that would really be ideal jerk bait time too what would be your ideal rod for jerkbaits specs, brand whatever I thought about getting a shimano but the number of bearings kind of scares me. Are they still smooth?
  9. That is a good idea. I feel your pain on re-tying you are not the only one me too I would keep that rod for jigs probably what are your favorite specs and brands
  10. Baitcast not much of a guy for spinning
  11. Do any of y'all have some specific combos that you would recommend in the 200-250 range
  12. I'm not going to this year this is my first year of solid bass fishing I'm only 13 and in about April I really got serious with bass fishing I probably fish 6 days a week . But I just can't stand throwing a jerk I don't know what it is but I'm trying to challenge my self to throw them more and become a more well rounded angler
  13. Yeah I probably do lol but if I bought one I would probably wait till next season because I wouldn't be able to use very long I guess it could double for something else like a jerk bait but I don't really throw those much
