I decided to buy the Emotion Stealth Angler 11 kayak. I just need to get a paddle. Anybody know any good cheap paddles? (I would rather not have a "feathered" paddle by the way.) thanks everyone for all the support Also what length do you recommend. The kayak is 30 inches wide and 11 feet long if that helps. I am about 5 foot 6" but still growing a bit

If only I had a 'mom,and pop shop' around my area. Then it might be different True. but in my price range it is wonderful. No way could I spend 200+ on a reel. I just don't have the money. (Not putting down people who do, if I could I would buy top end equipment but I'm satisfied with what I have)

This summer I found a place with a lot of bass. I know they move around in the fall and winter. I am wondering if they will come back to the same spot or will I have to find different structure that they are in?

Ok... Compared to a Stratic, yes it is cheaper. BUT for the price these reels are insane. What I'm trying to ask is why are they cheaper at Walmart. If you order from Tackle Warehouse or Cabelas it's like 60 dollars but it's about 48 from Walmart. I'm trying to ask if there is an older model of the RG-AB or are the prices just really good at Walmart. I'm saying this because maybe there is a RG-AB from a few years ago that is cheaper but not as good. I want the newest model because the one I tested at Cabelas was insane.

I checked out a Daiwa Rg-ab and they are so smooth and relatively inexpensive. The problem where to buy at. I looked in-store at cabelas and the size 2500 is 49.99. On the site it is 59.99. Anyway I found the reel online at Walmart and it is about 48 dollars with free in store pickup. Anyway I was wondering why it is so cheap, is there an old model of RG-AB or something? I think the reel came out in June 2016. is it old or something I'm really confused on why it's so much cheaper...

One time i was fishing a live sucker in a river mouth because a huge pike kept flopping (I think it was a pike but I cant be sure) A seagull came down and grabbed the sucker and took off with it. At first i thought i had a big fish and set the hook but then realized it was a seagull. It took off and started pulling my line out, i didnt want to lose all my line but there were people everywhere and the game wardens patrol the place too. So i started reeling the bird in and fighting it like a fish. By then there was a bunch of people watching. Finally the bird let go of the sucker and flew away. That was my weirdest day! Though that was a long time ago

I like evening. Im not saying its the best but i like it. The bass fishing heats up when the sun just starts to set. So does the bluegill.

You have a point there, I will take your advice and do that, I'm sure everyone is getting tired of my asking about a certain kayak, there are hundreds if not thousands of kayaks on the market. Although I think some are actually trying to be nice, most people don't understand that I don't have a huge budget to spend on a piece of plastic that floats. I don't need a 600$+ kayak just something simple to get me around. Thank you.
