  1. Exactly. While fishing docks with my friend, I almost landed an 8.5 pound bass. Next day same spot, i got a big bite. he casted right there and caught a 6 pounder. this time we had the net because i told him not to leave it.
  2. I hooked my "PB" 8.5 pounder skipping docks with a 5 in black senko neko rigged with a 3/4 inch roofing nail a size one hook. This fishing was textbook. Isolated wooden dock on a point. skipped in it (after hopping onto another dock) i got nagged on the boats motor for five minutes. eventually it started MOVING. big fish, i had the fish in my hands. it broke off in my Hands fish was at least 24"
  3. I typically use worms that float, enabling them to have more action, like zman, will also last long any zoom worms will work and are cheap too

  11. I have a 10 foot Sears jon boat. it is not super stable. Will adding a casting deck in the front be a good idea?
  12. I ended up taking a milk crate and zip tying 4 12" sections of 1.5" pic, work realy well with the minnow bucket to weigh the crate down, i placed it at the front of the casting deck!
  13. I will be fishing a tournament in my lake that allows live bait. There will be two people in the 1256 Lowe V Hull boat. we modded the boat to have a casting deck on it. I want to have a way to fish live bait and for it to be out of the way of our lures. any help is appreciated...

  16. Looking back, I kinda feel bad about this. My friend and I had just broken off on an 8 pound bass while fishing docks the day before. The next morning, we go back to the same two docks. There was a little lady probably in her 50s or 60s fishing with a small spiniest reel, on the dock next to the ones we planned to fish. She was using worms and a bobber. we figured she was fishing for perch, bluegill, and crappie. We decided to fish the side of the dock closest to her. We trolled around her in a respectful manner. We said good morning and asked her how she was doing, just being polite. We immediately got bit and landed big fish. I landed a 6 pound bass. My friend landed a 4 and a 3. Once we fished it thoroughly, we moved on. I feel bad, because we were the only three on the water of a 127 acre lake. We did try our best to be respectful however. also, at one point, she got snagged in a nearby tree. Before we could offer to help her, she had already gone into the water. I regret being more courteous, but I feel we weren't overly rude.
  17. You can also Texas rig the senkos, use them as a wacky work, and then make them a bed rig bait
