  3. They're called Water Dogs where I come from. We use to catch them pretty often while cat fishing when I was a teenager
  4. Mid October on a small local reservoir. I caught the fall feeding frenzy just right. A drizzly day and I caught bass until I ran out of light. Nothing big, average 2 to 3.5 lb range. Out standing day.
  5. Fishing related, my wife got me a Lews spinning reel and my daughter got me a Lews spinning rod to put it on. I like it

  7. Yep, If it's a family outing, I'll help all I can. If it's someone being overbearing, I've not caught a thing

  9. I personally have a spinner the same color tide on another rod & reel ready to go. I just did that on a little lake a few weeks ago, and I'm about 25% like previous said.
  10. BankBassing, I'm from Fayette County. I do most of my fishing on Summersville, Burnsville and Plumorchard
  11. Good evening all, I'm glad to be aboard here and look forward to all the fine info. I'm a 51 year old guy that's been fishing for 45 yrs or so. My best friend and fishing partner is my wife of 32 yrs. We've been fishing for over 33 yrs and still enjoy getting out on the water and casting for a bass or anchoring down in a crappie bed for hours. As I get older I find myself more on the boat than in the woods these days. Looking forward to all the tips on this forum.
  12. BadBass, by the what I can see in your picture, they kinda look like Gar. I've seen something similar in Summersville and Burnsville. I've got them in Burnsville.
