  1. ^thats why I mentioned dale hollow and tournament results, can’t really measure up in that category with a 1 fish limit
  2. If you’re tired of looking for catfish rods, you’re focusing on the wrong part of the story. Just get one and go fishing, it’s the Indian that’s important , not the arrow catfishing is huge in TN, there are several people that make only catfish rods. They are usually pretty bendy, lot of fish over 50 lbs swimming around
  3. There’s a whole car lot full of vehicles in there, I saw a ford f250 go in one day. They got it out tho
  4. Blue top legend! I don’t know, I’ll have to drop by and see. Boston whaler is one helluva machine
  5. The crappiest of them show it clearly
  6. ^me at work all day
  7. No Florida strain near me although they tried it. They have them about 100 miles downstream

  11. It’s a good thing we don’t control the ecosystem, humans just can’t help but pick favorites
  12. @Jar11591 they just keep on coming
  13. I kind of fish rivers and lakes all the same, granted the lakes are all made out of rivers in TN…..
  14. Ospreys fishing reminded me : I was in florida once and saw ospreys diving like crazy. I paddled over and started bombing all kinds of lures and caught nothing, eventually realized that it was an adult bird teaching it’s offspring how to dive into the water, they weren’t catching anything either
  15. Little hooks stick well in smallmouth. Can’t hardly get it out of the roof of their mouth most of the time
  16. Dang @thediscochef, hope you are on the mend
  17. I have so many crazy smallmouth topwater bites that stick out in my mind, they smash a lure like crazy. Poppers, buzzbaits, spooks, and prop baits have all been very good to me. Also twitching a floating rapala on top can be deadly. @BassNJakeis the master of the toad for SMB on the other hand, my buddy guides fly fishing trips for smallies and 20”+ fish regularly sip flies gently off the surface. The clients always expect and explosion and of course sometimes they do hit hard but he said mostly they just sip them. And subsequently go bananas
  18. I watch haul over inlet, quite entertaining haha
  19. Now that’s not a bad idea
  20. Cool! Although I bet it could take off, I’ve seen an Osprey carrying a tree branch about 10 feet long as big around as my arm
  21. @ol'crickety, last week while parked there they just chucked a foam drink cup out the window. If it wasn’t entirely possible that they kill me, I would have said something
  22. And fish the ones in the south from November to February
  23. People park in front of the one close to my house every single day without fail, grill of the vehicle pointed downhill at the water. No trailer
