  1. I am going to play devil’s advocate. There is no actual IPT when the crankbait is being pulled at a constant speed when trolling. I would guess that pulling a crankbait at a constant speed will take it to its max depth and keep it there as long as the speed is constant. There are other things to that come into play when you cast a crankbait and reel it back to you since the crankbait will come back to you at a 180 degree angle.
  2. @Catt @NHBull @WRB it’s gonna be tough finding 5 speed since I am a lefty. I will likely have to get a JDM reel.
  3. Man who you tellin..... This year really has me questioning myself as a fisherman.
  4. For this set up I’m hoping for the 7’6” range, higher or lower, give or take.
  5. Would u recommends a medium heavy or medium powered rod? I know I want a rod with a lot of tip.
  6. To each is own my brother. If im paying for a warranty it’s worth it to me.
  7. What gear ratio would be best for crankbaits that dive in the 10-15 ft. I’m not sure if I should get 6 or 5 speed. What would you suggest?
  8. I got glass and composite crankbait rods. Flouro is the only line I use on these kind of rods.
  9. 1 year warranty with that price.... I’ll pass!
  10. 40# braid with a 12 or 15# flouro leader. Don’t plan on changing it.
  11. I fished a tournament on Saturday and a guy pulled up 50 yards in front of us. They wouldn’t even look us in eye so they knew it was dirtball move.
  12. I fished Brookville today it was terrible. Everyone had the blues
  13. I only carry one spinning outfit but If was limited to that: 7’4” ML/F - Dropshot, Ned rig 7’ M/F - lipless cranks, square bills, Chatterbaits, or spinnerbaits 7’ MH/F - Weighted t-rigged plastics or jigs That the best I can come up with but you will get more opinions.
  14. I didn’t have any hook up issues. I didn’t bend the hooks, I just can’t walk it to well.
  15. I have some of Ish’s Phat Frogs and I can’t walk them if my life depended on it but the twitch action works well for me.
  16. I’m too reckless to have a bait that cost that much.
  17. Dewd......... get out your feelings. Just messin but it happens to everybody. Most of the bass I gut hooked were dinks bitting a t-rigged soft plastics becaue I can’t always detect their bites. Keep fishing.
  18. I’m farther north so I’m sure they will spawn earlier where you’re at. I’m very known for being wrong.
  19. With $100 I’m buying a new rod, no way I would pay that for a swimbait. I gets snagged a lot and lose a lot of lures.
  20. That must be southern Indiana. I wish, They usually don’t start bedding until late May and early June in my area.
  21. This Indiana weather is bipolar. It’s depressing and I’m too impatient to fish slow. Hopefully this weather stabilizes in a few week.
  22. Gamakatsu Finesse Wide Gap hooks in 3/0 is my got to wacky hook. Weed guards get in the way. If u want to go weedless I suggest t-rigging it on a offset round end or straight shank hook with a keeper.
  23. I have not handled one but noticed that the Type Rs and SVs have better bearings which may be the reason why the 150 is not as smooth.
