It's a toad

For years now I have heard these terms flats, ridges, breaks, etc. while I do know some of them there are many that I don't know. I was wondering if someone could define what they are for or give me a link to were I could learn these terms.

I have been looking for months and have picked up some info about where bass go and what they do in the spring, summer, fall, winter, but I was wondering if someone could show me some links were I can find more info about this. I need a reel for my punching rod that is under $130 preferably. What I look for is a reel with a strong drag, smoothness, and durability. But I am having trouble deciding on a reel in that price range.

I'm wanting to purchase a drop shot reel I seem to be stuck between the president and supreme. IMO it seems that the president has a smoother retrieve but the supreme has a better gear ratio for drop shot and is lighter by 0.8 oz's. I was wondering is it worth spending the extra $40 or should I go with the president.

I was wondering what rod to get for using top water baits such as spooks, popers, buzzbaits, etc. should I get two separate rods one for single hook top water baits and one for treble hooked baits or just one.
