Punching reel under $130

Featured Replies

I need a reel for my punching rod that is under $130 preferably. What I look for is a reel with a strong drag, smoothness, and durability. But I am having trouble deciding on a reel in that price range.

I use a Tatula, great strong and durable reel. All aluminum frame, long handle, strong smooth drag.

Can't be beat for that price range in my opinion.

I like this and a revo for what your gonna do.

pretty sure majority of the reels around $130 range can do what you want to do. if you are having trouble deciding which one, thats another story, but just finding one isnt hard at all.

1* fishing, daiwa, shimano, lews, abu, etc all have reels that fit your needs

I use an Okuma Cerros 273 and have for a few years now with no issues.

Tatula (or one of it'so variants type r, ct, ct type r, ect) or a Curado are your 2 best options. I prefer the tatula type r over the curado.

No I haven't.

I think I remember reading on here that a few members have.

Do a search and I'm sure you'll find it.
