Found Strike King tour grade tungsten weights at Wal-Mart for 5 bucks.That's like 3 bucks cheaper than BPS.

Have any of you used these?? If so what did you think about them? I'm not talking about the Winns that are already on the Lews or Carbonlites when you buy them.Just the roll of grip tape for DIY. Was it good? Did the added weight throw off the balance? If you remove it does it ruin the cork or eva?.

i believe that its 7 strands HMPE woven around 1 strand PTFE.

That "gore" is PTFE.Brand name is known as Teflon.Super strong and abrasion resistant.I assure you it floats though.

i went last night and ill i grabbed were the 5 for 10 super spots.Not impressed

How light are you talking? i wouldn't throw anything less than 1/4 oz on it.Also what kind of rod are you using? If your throwing something lighter than the rod specs indicate,it may be that the bait is to light for the rod to properly load. Spinning or casting? i should have asked that

Magforce set on 2 with just enough spool tension.I don't feel like cutting out line for the sake of cutting out line.Its not a matter of IF your going to nest.You're going to nest.I've got a pretty good thumb and I still do it on occasion.I don't trust myself to free spool.I do like it on the edge though. Hit the BPS Spring sale.All I picked up was 5 Cotton Cordell super spots for 10 bucks.Hard to pass that up.Grabbed 2 gold 2 chrome/blue and one firetiger.Id have bought more but I'm saving for a new rod.

Yea it looks like the wrap and epoxy blew out.Pretty crazy looking blow out.Get someone local to fix it.
