  2. I am currently using Envirotex Lite. If anyone has tried something easier/better. I would love to know how it works/where to buy it.
  3. Has anyone used "Alumilite Amazing Clear Cast" for a clear coat on lures? I need a waterproof clear cloat for lures, but online it doesn't say anything about being waterproof.
  4. I do use a scope with my Crosman Redtail. It does not have built in iron sights. I have only tried 2 different pellets for my Crosman Redtail. I have a Crosman F4 that seems to shoot Crosman's hollowpoint .177 pellets really well. From what I have heard, if you hold the gun too firmly, the back and forth recoil of the NP pellet rifles can cause accuracy loss. Not entirely sure about that though. I was thinking about selling my Redtail and upgrading to a bolt action pellet rifle with the pump lever under the barrel. Since the barrel is fixed, they are supposed to be more accurate with a scope compared to a break barrel.
  5. I have a Crosman Redtail .22 break barrel pellet rifle. My shots are of varying accuracy (some holes are touching and others inches apart) and I think I might have found the culprit. There is about a millimeter of side to side play in the barrel when it is cocked and closed up. Does anyone know how oI could fix this? It would also be helpful if anyone could point out other reasons for my lack of accuracy. Dove season starts tomorrow and I would like this problem fixed soon.
  6. I could've sworn I saw plastic gears in mine last time I put new grease on the gears.
  7. I have a Kastking Royale Legend.I got it off of amazon for around $50. I don't use it alot; I can't go bass fishing very often. It seems to be a pretty decent reel. It has plastic gears, so they will wear out faster, especially if you use it heavily.
  8. Here's a popper I made from a piece of a broomstick handle:http://imgur.com/c3DsFeH
  9. My birthday is on the 29th , so I'm probably going to be able to get some lure making materials then. If your interested, here's a link to a youtube channel that makes some beautiful lures: https://m.youtube.com/channel/UCa-xsrfvLmgaUfPFE1TK7OQ/videos Have you ever tried it? If so, how did it work out?
  10. I don't plan on painting my kayak anymore.
  11. I just realized how expensive shipping actually is on Balsausa , so I'm going to see if Hobby Lobby has any balsa I can use.
  12. I was looking at that and a $10 3 rpm disco ball motor on Amazon.
  13. I'm new to making lures, and I'm wondering what I should use for adhesives and clearcoats.I don't think I should use superglue because i've heard it degrades in water. I Have heard clear gorilla epoxy also degrades in water, so I don't know about that.I have some spraycan acrylic clearcoat already if that's usable.
  14. I'm 15 and from Mississippi. I love fishing and hunting. I recently got into hunting and I love it. I've gotten 2 squirrels this year both were adult males. They're in my freezer right now along with some catfish filets. I'm excited for rabbit season in the fall, as we have a couple of wild cottontails we're always seeing in our yard. I'm also excited for dove season; we have tons of them always landing in our backyard shooting alley. I have 2 air rifles: a crosman f4 .177 I mostly use for shooting rats near our barn, and a crosman redtail .22 I plan on using for rabbits and whatever else.
  15. I've caught 5 out of there now. One was like 2" on a liitle piece if hotdog, The others on a small (live) frog and a live sunfish.
