Being outside and on the water is a big stress reliever for me.Fishing is the only thing that can take me down to a 2 from a 10 then back up to 10 when you get that "tap tap".When im on the water its just me and the fish.Im not thinking about anything but the fish.No matter how bad a day ive had,fishing is my cure all.Lets not forget the rush of getting a topwater blowup.Trying to figure out ambush spots.I still shake like a leaf when im taking a big girl off the hook.I hoot and holler all by myself with nobody in earshot.I love the "collecting"(tackle gluttony) part of it as rods reels and lures have long replaced sports cards.Simply put,Its my thing,and always will be my thing.

The Orra is a brute.I keep beating the crap out of it and at the end of the season i clean it and lube it up.Still smooth as ever going on its 4th season.Great deal for 99 bucks.Just bought the Tatula but the CT and have never fished the Okuma.

ill go a bunch of times.I found this smalll pond a few miles from my house that i almost gave up on.Id catch a dink here and there,but nothing over a pound.One day i was pitching a frog into the brush off the bank and caught my PB.Now when i go there i stick to frogs and other topwater.The only lure ive caught a fish on that wasnt a frog or a popper was a spinnerbait.IVe pulled a few 3# out of there now plus the usual dinks.You just have to learn how to fish that pond.
