  1. I've been using an uglystick for years. I don't have problems with sensitivity and as long as I fish for bass I will have them along. I personally will only use 1 piece but that is a preference thing. The ml gx2 that I got for Christmas loads up great on casts. I can't talk about catching though because the ice is on and so it'll be a couple months till I get to take it fishing.
  2. I used to drown worms with my grandfather there when I was younger. I'm hoping to make my first Bass trip there in the spring of 17. Thanks for the thread ill let you know what I turn up.
  3. A zerra spook for me. Anytime I hit the topwater bite I'm throwing a frog or jitterbug. Bronze eye frogs would be another.
  4. My PB came on the pause.
  5. I was given the 2 piece for Christmas. I exchanged it for the 7'6" 1 piece ML gx2. The singles are thicker but they are what I prefer.
  6. Nice to meet you.
  7. Thanks Tom. Yea still new. Ill watch for it to move. I use the 3" model. Ill have to check out the undergrounders.
  8. I have a go to lure. It is a large black jitterbug with a rattle I use it in the evening through the night and early morning. My 3 best bass have been caught on this lure. My question is, why doesn't it seem to get much play professionaly? At least I haven't ever seen a pro throw one. I know there are many topwater lures and I use various jigs and jerks, but if fishing is slow I will be throwing that jitterbug.
  9. Got a 7'6" uglystik medium light action. And cash to order a reel for it. Can't wait to hit the water.
  10. Altoona area.
  11. I fish central Pennsylvania lakes mostly. I've been bass fishing for about 17 years but I've only really gotten serious in the last couple. Got my PB 2 years ago in canoe lake, a 6.5# largemouth.
