  1. keep those boards man. makes great looking furniture. run metal detector over boards to save planer blades. plane back sides.belt sand fronts leaving saw marks and nail holes I like red mahogany stain it leaves marks looking darker. or just plain laqure looks good too. then mix gray exterior boards for like door centers or coffee table ends and backs etc...same goes for 2x stuff, makes great frames for furniture. made all of my shop cabinets out of same lumber you are cutting, looks pretty cool

  4. some friends of mine just pulled out a couple of hogs a couple of weeks ago. my cousin also fishes it ,says its pretty good. best of luck enjoy your trip.

  6. LAKE FORK MARINA. very nice people. good restaurant. close to a lot of ramps. the Italian place close to it very good as well
  7. any time you are teaching kids a new sport ,an appreciation for the environment. offering something new and challenging to the mind. expanding a students knowlage base, on electronics, how different things are made, and a general passion for learning. and then offering them a sense of self value and pride. not to mention the representation of your local town and school. isn't that what schools and education departments encourage? best of luck on the paper. hope you get an A PLUS !!

  19. not me either. I would have been going over and getting unhung as well . something I am working on tho. seen a lot of biguns come from there in mid summer.
  20. while in texas I was watching one of the pros fishing behind us in the channel. and apparently he must have had one .he was dropping straight down and jigging for some he had spotted on his electronics. no anchors out and he was moving around in the boat tieing on different baits. very windy conditions. pretty cool.

  22. hang in there man, keep dreaming up new ways to sweet talk your wife into new gear. like the doc told me new rods help cure anxiety. or the therapist said a new reel was good theropy for my wrist.
