  1. Nice fish! I've always wanted to catch a steelhead but they are non-existent in Florida.
  2. For me: 1. Rebel Pop R 2. Heddon Tiny Torpedo 3. Zara Spook
  3. Gamakatsu is the best in my opinion.
  4. I'll be going fishing again soon and would like to know if a jig with rattles will be effective this time of year in Florida with cold water temperatures.
  5. Excellent posts Chris. That was a lot of good information that can only be learned by trial and error, but you explained it very well.
  6. A slow moving worm sounds good to me, but you might want to try swimming a jig also if the water is cold. Just make sure you use a pork trailer because it allows the jig to fall slower (and SLOWER is the key).
  7. Bill Dance and Roland Martin.
  8. Being in Florida, I fish small ponds quite frequently. I agree with Laggyman for the most part, however, topwater lures such as a Rebel Pop R and buzzbaits have produced for me just as well, but I have to admit I have never caught a bass on a crankbait or spinnerbait. The t-rigged worm is my go to bait, and I think it's the most productive for small bodies of water.
  9. This mojo thing is a cool idea! Count me in! Just send me a PM if I can add a little "mojo magic."
  10. Hey everyone! Just thought I'd introduce myself. I've been hangin around the forum a while and this looks like a great site. I hope to learn a bunch more about bass fishing so I can improve my skills.
