  1. Hey guys, just need to vent a little. Today was my last day of high school. I thought it'd be exciting, and it is a little, but mostly it's incredibly sad and depressing. I probably won't really see these people very much anymore because I'm goin' to school in Tampa and everyone else is staying where I am currently. When I look back I just realize there were a lot of things I should have done in the past that I didn't do until my senior year, like meet more people and really start hanging out with them (my first three years I was basically a loner). Sure I'll visit them whenever I go back to see family, but it will never be the same. People change, and seeing them every few months may cause friendships to slowly diminish. Oh well, the things I regret will just be something I'll have to live with. When I go off to college I can start fresh and be as outgoing as I became this year instead of waiting til the end. I guess first impressions really do count, and everyone's first impression of me back in 9th grade was that I was quiet and not very sociable. I won't make the same mistake again. Hopefully I can cheer up soon because I don't feel like doing anything now except reflecting on my high school years which I realize are actually over. It didn't really hit me until this evening, but now that it has it's a pretty powerful emotion.
  2. Nightcrawlers are the best in my opinion. I went up to NC one summer and caught a full seven fish limit (all keepers) in about thirty minutes. The guys using power bait didn't catch anything.
  3. Crappie. No contest.
  4. Largemouth, 3lb 15oz, black t-rigged Zoom Trickworm
  5. The check engine light on my mom's old car stayed on for 3 years and there were never any problems during that time period. It was a '97 Mazda Protege.
  6. I'm back from my outing and..... I got SKUNKED. :'( I didn't catch a single bass. I had one vicious hit on a Bill Lewis Ratl Trap but that was it. Don't know if it was a bass or not. I don't get it. I tried softplastic worms, spinnerbaits, lipless crankbaits, topwaters, and wacky rigs. Nothing produced. The fish are spawning now, but I don't know what I did wrong. Maybe I just never found them.
  7. Well, it's been about two months since I've gone bass fishing, but this sunday I'll finally be going! I'm so excited to catch my first bass of the season! I'm gonna try the Ocklawaha River down here in Florida. The bass are spawning, and I'm thinking about throwing some spinnerbaits and plastic worms. I'll post pics of all the bass I catch ;D ....... hopefully.
  8. Hey guys, I just realized that whenever I get a new Bassmaster I read the whole thing cover to cover and every single article. I was just wondering if I'm the only one who does this or if there are others out there who read the entire magazine.
  9. Nice fish! I wish I would catch one that big. My PB is 3lb 15oz.
  10. All even so far. I said Yamaha simply because that's what I have and it has worked perfectly for the three years since I've had it (starts up on the first crank every time).
  11. I don't really see the point. As Other stated, it's a "waste of bandwidth." Just my $0.02.
  12. I NEVER eat when I'm on the water, even if I'm hungry. I find it too nerve-racking to stop fishing and just eat because I know while I'm eating that big lunker could be cruising by. I always think I'll miss an opportunity. On the rare occasions I do bring food, my dad eats it but I always leave it untouched. I will drink some water though.
  13. ROFL!!! That was hilarious!
  14. You guys need to specify which lure you're talking about. Is it the regular Chug Bug or is it the Rattlin' Chug Bug?
  15. I'm curious as to how I can get the mojo. I don't really understand how it's decided who gets it next or when. Maybe one of the mods could draw up a list randomly and post it? Or maybe go by state? I'm excited to add to it!
  16. Yes, I love it! I have replaced all my old Plano tackleboxes with Falcon FTO's. Falcon makes the best tackle organizers around. The four-latch system keeps all my lures dry and secure, and they don't spill into the other dividers and get the hooks hung up on other lures.
  17. Nice! But you're towing it with a Hummer? That must cost some big bucks for gas.
  18. Let's see some pics of the new boat.
  19. EEEEWWWWW!!! DISUGUSTING!!! It made my skin crawl watching it. :-/
  20. I HATE race car driving. I find it incredibly boring to watch cars drive in a circle 500 times.
  21. And finally, the panfish. I caught it on a Rebel Crawfish.
