- LOOKING FOR A NEW SWIMBAIT ROD
Holy swimbait, Batman! XXH rated for 14 oz baits, what are you two @J Francho @Bluebasser86 fishing for? Alligator Gar? Should I go with the Guide Select, I'll have to look at the wiring harness that runs down on the side (inside) of my hull. I don't think I can store a 7'11" rod down the center due to the obstruction inside the hull under the seat. The specs on the Guide Select is impressive, I might give it a go once I redo the wiring harness.- Hello from Central Kansas!
Welcome to BR @Jweller! Hey @Bluebasser86, you're looking good on that Big Game2!- Hello from Ottawa Canada

Thinking I should get off BR and start packing for a trip. I hate packing!- LOOKING FOR A NEW SWIMBAIT ROD
I handed off my 11-year old Lamiglas XC807 to my son this winter and was getting ready to drop coin on another Lamiglas last night when I came across this Okuma Nomad Express. There's only 5-6 times a year when I throw the heavy baits and I'm limited on the number of rods I can carry on the kayaks. This Okuma would fit nicely inside the hatches and comes in two models rated for 1-4 and 2-8 ozs. I know that earlier models (2015) had problems with cardboard spacers, that arborded the reel seat, disintegrating when water seeped in, but a couple folks I talked to about the newer models told me that this has been fixed. I would appreciate any user thoughts on this Okuma.- Post a photo a day!
Thanks for sharing this. I use to umpire games up until about 15 years ago. Gave it up when some of parents started getting verbally abusive towards the kids. I do miss it.- IT'S OFFICIAL, SE OKLAHOMA IS PRIME

In 1945, Marine Gunnery Sgt. Robert Van Camp carried a small, 48-star American flag in his pocket during the Battle of Iwo Jima. This weekend, his son, retired Marine Captain Robert W. Van Camp brought the same flag to an annual remembrance ceremony on the island, which also drew a dozen of the dwindling number of U.S. veterans of the battle. His father was wounded during the battle. (Photos, Stars and Stripes)- IT'S OFFICIAL, SE OKLAHOMA IS PRIME

I'm going to hit the quiet zone north of the horse shoe at McGee Creek before heading over to Broken Bow.- BUYING NON-RESIDENT FISHING LICENSES ONLINE
Yes, Missouri turned out to be painless. So did Illinois, but Virginia, Georgia, and Texas was giving me a headache. Might have been my server, but those sites would eventually take me to blank pages. I'll try again in a couple of days or maybe I'll call and see if I can do it over the phone.- BUYING NON-RESIDENT FISHING LICENSES ONLINE
I got so frustrated trying to buy non-resident licenses for multiple states this morning, I felt like taking a hammer to the laptop. I always purchase for the year as it is cheaper than buying by the day as I usually will spend 1-2 weeks at a lake. Some state sites work good, others not so good. I wish the Department of the Interior or other agency would host one site where a person could go and make multiple state purchases. Maybe it's just one of those days.- Post a photo a day!
March 23, 1994, twenty-four Army paratroopers were lost when a F16 fighter collided with a C141 on the "Green Ramp," North Carolina. You are not forgotten.- Most difficult techniques?
I can flip, pitch, and make a lure dance like there's no tomorrow, but when it comes to skipping, you better have your Kevlar helmets on. That's one thing that I've never mastered. - LOOKING FOR A NEW SWIMBAIT ROD
