  1. Now that's a good looking split tab combination!
  2. That bottom pattern is nice! If you do repaints for folks, let me know.
  3. 9" Blackberry, if they're not biting that, they're not biting.
  4. Looking forward to May. Hauling the kayak up to my home state to fish 2-3 weeks.
  5. My home away from home, National Infantry Museum, Ft. Benning, GA. "Have a seat children, and I will tell you tales of knights riding across the clouds upon dragons."
  6. No, but you do need @Siebert Outdoors Dredge Brush Jigs made using the Owner Deep Throat Hook.
  7. This is very good advice @EGbassing, especially if you are watching your coin. I saved $300 on my last kayak doing this and I've saved on all my kayaks like this. Once you've identified your dream yak, wait until November-December for that years models to go on sale.
  8. Paddles come in different shaft lengths. (unless it's an adjustable) Wait until you know what kayak you're going to get so you'll know what length shaft you'll need. If I was you, I'd get the best paddle you can afford and preferably one with an adjustable shaft.
  9. I like how this guy mounted a trolling motor on his SS127. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ukmFAwBBwzk&feature=share&fbclid=IwAR1GZNHYMZBZ75g19VhNJWBkrkFFy4olcvft-7ytG1eA2ILNmE75yjLPNoU
  10. PFC William Delaney was killed when an artillery shell struck his foxhole during the Battle of Hurtgen Forest, November 22, 1944, on the Belgium/German border. He was one of over 12,000 Americans killed in this battle. His remains have just been identified and they will be returning to his home in Kingston, TN. Welcome home soldier. 11. Mr. Miyagi say, "Crank fast on, crank fast off, crank slow on, crank slow off."
  12. I don't have any experience with those boxes. Have you considered the Plano waterproof boxes?
  13. What size hooks are used on this jig?
  14. Good advice from a young man whom I've followed on FB and YT. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MpkK-LFXxGs&feature=youtu.be&fbclid=IwAR0AfFpE86GM0rNiaRXwyMtbxQGzjU0bOSJ3FWJRDPAIMuxEI_tGHcn5AII
  15. Now I know why Gramps never got a cold.
  16. I agree. I think it's good though that his fear brought him to his senses and he called it early. You only have to get caught out on water like that once, get a taste of that fear, to educate yourself on the limitations of a kayak. My lesson came 10 years ago and it's a lesson I've never forgotten.
  17. So, that's why all those girls are waving at me from the bank, and here I thought it was because I was flexing my arms as I slowly paddled by them.
  18. Greg Blanchard made a good call when he turned his kayak around and returned to the launch. I've made the same call a few times and even though it seems to deliver a blow to ones confidence, or ruin a day on the water, it just isn't worth your life. Those fish are not going anywhere, don't take unnecessary risks and live to fish another day. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wopEoc-6gFE
  19. Have you ever laid silicone over rubber?
  20. Welcome Josh!
  21. Welcome Zach!
  22. Welcome Elijah!
  23. Where are those NFL scouts? Combat football, 1974. I'm far right.
