  1. Good day coyote hunting. Beautiful morning for it Saturday, our 1st cold morning, (right at freezing) and the wind wasn't howling. Screaming till the coyotes come running is an awesome adrenaline rush. All three of these dogs was dirt checked at about 150-180 yards. My buddy was using a 22-250. and I was using my 25-06 with 75 grn vmax ballistic tips. If someone says they need drugs for a high tell them to take up bass fishing and predator hunting. Anyone else call coyotes?
  2. Yes, I noticed it! I was wondering if I was seeing it right!
  3. I looked up the bannana on a fishing boat myth and there is lots of ideas on where that came from. Both ideas that were mentioned above and about a dozen others, most of which make very little sense! One of them was that bannanas ripen quickly so the boat carrying them had to travel fast and therefore you didn't usually catch fish....and one was that the crew would slip and fall on the bannana peels and be injured, (classic Mario cart scene right there) There is a myth saying that a boat full of bannanas had a strange bacteria that killed the whole crew.....the list goes on and on.
  4. That dude got as much air time as some of @A-Jay's smallies.....
  5. Although I would love to lay claim to those fish I was actually just commenting on them lol! @Fishin' Fool is the one that caught them!
  6. I love the coloration of the one in your left hand.
  7. Ahhhh, the famed Falcon lake.....Beautiful fish and awesome new pb!!
  8. YouTube videos are cool but keep in mind those guys have bad days but since no one wants to watch somebody get skunked they don't post those. Cool looking mountains in the background.
  9. Don't know the details on your situation but a Rat-L-trap is a good place to start. The little I've used one I like it. Chrome with blue back.
  10. This post is 8 yrs old. @thinkingredneck keeps dragging up old topics Lol I try to check the date when I see a new thread to see if it's one someone brought up from the grave.....and I'm sure it's fine to do that but I check so I don't get confused.
  11. You catch a MONSTER smallie on the 2nd spinnerbait in the pic and you say "I've done OK" lol that's an understatement!
  12. Oh the places we will go..... 1st order from siebert outdoors! ?
  13. Sayy whaaaa?? What was the meeting about? How to make jigs 101? My boss loves bass fishing, but if he seen me making a jig during a meeting he would smack me out of my chair backwards!
  14. Yeah when things freeze over for @A-Jay he just heads down to Mexico for some DD action.... ?
  15. Good thing it wasn't, your wife would have been ticked! ??
  16. ??Should of took the fish with you....just remember to take her in because hot cars can be potentially dangerous to bass under 6 lbs....?
  17. What do you like for crankin? Med mod? Med Heavy mod?
  18. I figure they will. I don't know a lot about it I just have some family that has a small pond they built and they had quite a few bass some getting to be a few pounds and then the turtles took over and they wiped out most of the fish. They trapped 20+ turtles out if it and the bass are coming back.
  19. Okay thanks, that's what I needed to know. ?
  20. If there is lots of turtles in a pond like you mentioned they can put a whoopin' on the bass.
  21. I'm thinking of getting this reel and pairing it with Dobyns Fury 705cb and using it primarily for shallow, mid depth, and lipless crankbaits. Do you still recommend the mettle??
  22. I already try to treat fish properly....so nothing will change on my part. I never lay fish in the dirt. I also don't tell people what kind of death their fish probably suffered for being on the dirt for a couple seconds.
  23. I think it's good to teach people about proper fish handling, but I just think it's immature to tell a guy his fish probably died a "slow suffering death" when you don't know if it did or not.
