  1. New Mexico, Texas and Oklahoma.
  2. Tried a few new things last year but the real kicker was lipless cranks. Had an awesome day fishing one and now I'm a believer....
  3. 7.25 lb pig on a 5" black with green and red specked T rigged yum dinger.
  4. I just got a Dobyns rod for Christmas so that's nice to know.
  5. That's awesome. Looks really good.
  6. I have no idea how I missed this when it was originally posted but I'm glad I found it!! Great read!
  7. They are now offering a $10,000 reward for anyone that finds him.
  8. Lotta truth right there.
  9. Does the weight to length to girth ratio vary from FLMB to NLMB? I know that each bass is different but I was curious if it consistently varied between the two. I caught a 7 lb 4 oz 22" long LMB in new Mexico and then shortly after that I caught a 6 lb 23 1/2" long LMB in Oklahoma and wondered if one was FLMB and the other NLMB
  10. 2018 fishing goals - buy a pelican bass raider 10E, strart night fishing a lot more for more quality bass.
  11. Thand! You made some good points! What # test you using on that Yo-Zuri hybrid??
  12. I got a new Dobyns Fury 705cb and a H20 Express 6.3:1 baitcasting reel from my wife and I was wondering what line yall would put on it. I'm wanting to try some deeper cranking with it along with throwing traps (found out this fall I love throwing them) My 1st thought is a monofilament in the 12-15# range. I'd like to rip grass while throwing traps that's why I thought about the 15# line. What's yalls thoughts?
  13. That's a real dandy! ?

Nice fish! Looks like a healthy 5 lber....
  15. In some ways I'd love to live in Texas (I live just across the state line NM) I'm from NE oklahoma and for all around that would be a good pick. I grew up in a small town, it was beautiful country (to me anyways) and lots of water. Cost of living isn't bad and lots of good lakes. Except for the humidity the weathers nice.
  16. The food don't really matter, but I try not to forget the sunflower seeds!
  17. I like this one: Bushnell TRKR Multi-Color Headlamp, 250 Lumens
  18. And that was with the 17.?
  19. Just wasnt one of them things that lights your fire huh?
  20. I've heard mixed feelings about the 17. Some say it drops em but I've heard other guys talk about how they would lose coyotes one after another with it. Yeah I hear what your saying about the small fast calibers, my 25-06 isn't real small but I'm handloading 75gr hornady vmax and it's pushing 3600 fps. I've never had a coyote or anything else even attempt to take a step after that hit them.
  21. Awesome! How did the 204. perform? Would it drop em in their tracks most times? Sounds like you have a good population of coyotes! I'd say you will have good success if you tried it, and I'd say your son would like it. If he can stay still enough to turkey hunt I'd say he handle coyote hunting too. Thanks! I'd like to get either a .243 or 22-250. designated coyote gun at some point.....
