Yes that would be great if you did that!! I have fished candlewood once before about 8 years ago so I didn't really know what I was doing.

How to fish heavy rains?
It is a little bit too cold for topwater unfortunately It is a weird situation because all of my local lakes are down 30+ feet although it is raining so heavily. I am located in the Bay Area FYI.

How to fish heavy rains?
It has been going in and out of rain every couple hours for the past week with extremely hard rains during the night and I haven't been able to catch fish. Air temp is about 45 degrees throughout the day. How should I approach this situation? The only bites I have gotten have been casting towards air pumps near a dam in deep water with a shakey head (I am on the shore). Any suggestions? Thanks!

Marin County Fishing
Anyone ever fish in the Marin County area? I've found a lot of success there and was wondering if anyone else has too.

Lake Chabot challenges
I've fished Chabot only a few times but the tip on fishing overcast is 100% correct. Go out on a day like that and fish a jig for most of the day.

Looking for places to fish in the bay area. San Jose area to be more exact. Willing to travel 1 hr give or take. Any help?
If you are willing to drive to Marin County I'd definitely give Kent Lake a shot, I've never been skunked there. Hike in to the Dam and fish the dam in the morning. If you are willing to hike some more then you can.

How often do you have a false hookset?
All the time, especially with senkos for me because whenever I feel anything out of the ordinary I swing!

New Flippin/Swimbait Combo with 50lb Braid
Do you think that using a 12lb fluoro leader is too light for flipping and throwing swimbaits on a 7'8 Heavy rod? I normally fish ultra clear water so I need to go relatively light. Thanks!

Roaming Bass Lures
Don't fish moving baits in that situation. My go-to is a neko-rigged 6in Roboworm. Pitch it a few feet in front and work it slow and you might get bit, if not move on because the fish is lockjaw.

How fast do you abandon a pond?
What if it's a pond you've never fished before and don't know if there are even fish?

How fast do you abandon a pond?
How fast do you guys give up on a pond when you are pond hopping? I like to fish small farm ponds in my area and I never know when to give up. Obviously, if I'm catching fish I'll stay for a while but if not, how long should I wait? Do you like to switch presentations multiple times or just move on? Thanks!

Tips on casting with fluoro?
I too bought some InvizX after I struggled so much and almost all my problems went away. I think line played into it a lot.

Tips on casting with fluoro?
I meant the other knob on the other side of the reel. The Okuma Cerros does not have internal brakes but instead has a dial on the side.

Tips on casting with fluoro?
I have adjusted the brakes, I'm not a rookie lol. It's 12lb test.

Good lakes/ponds near Pebble Beach/Monterey?
Hi all, I'm moving schools to a school in Pebble Beach and was wondering if there are any good bass fishing lakes/ponds nearby. The only one I really saw was Forest Lake which looked really iffy. Thanks!
