That and many of the pros probably have more cash than I'll ever see in person.
  2. What would you say the cast different between a Chronarch MGL, Met JDM and Met MGL are?
  3. I'll probably go with the Chronarch MGL then. I did look at the Metanium MGL, which is currently out of my price range as we speak, ha ha ha. But does the Metanium MGL even give you much distance over the Chronarch MGL?
  4. How much distance does the Shimano Chronarch give you on casting heavier lures (say 3/8 oz) compared to the 70?
  5. After checking on Ebay, it seems some sellers has the Shimano Chronarch MGL 20 or 30 dollars from the retail price of a Curado 70. Worth it though?
  6. Unfortunately I've never used one. Do you know how well it casts compared to the Curado 70?
  7. Has anyone used the Daiwa Tatula 100 Type-R? Looks like some places has it for under 200.
  8. Just looked it up and you're right. Can't find much on it, and how it compares to the 70.
  9. Never owned that brand, but I've always heard positive things about them.
  10. I'm updating my tackle a bit. Other than my 70, all my other reels are nearly older than I am... I wanna try to purchase another baitcaster, that's better than the 70, for I'll have two up-to-date reels. I'm not saying the 70 is bad, ( probably my best baitcaster ever) but I figure why not go beyond that on my next buy? Obviously this is just an opinion topic, since everyone will have a different view on the cheapest reel superior to a 70, but all opinions are appreciated.
  11. I've fished red plastics, but not of hard plastics yet.
  12. My first impression was the plain one looks more natural, but then I was thinking the red-headed one could pass as an injured fish.
  13. That's a burn... but I know what you mean. I result to bassresource much as I can nowadays.
  14. It was just some Youtube review from a user. He said the live series chips easier than regular crankbaits. I haven't used them either... yet.
  15. It was in one of those Youtube reviews. The user said they chip easier than other cranks. 2:03 timestamp. But I've never used them before.
  16. Usually a worm with a weight, but I've actually caught a bass off a devil's horse before in temperature around the 80s. It could've just been a lucky cast and landed right in front of it.
  17. It seems you and I both reside in the same state. Maybe try hitting it in the very early morning or in the very late afternoon, with a lure you think isn't often used there. Maybe a jitterbug, or a crazy crawler. Both have caught fish for me around those time of the day. When I generally do is basically cast everywhere... side the banks, middle, etc.
  18. I've seen in some older reviews the mention of the color being chipped easily, and the lips being easily breakable... Is this still the case? If anyone has purchased one recently, wouldn't mind hearing your opinion.
  19. on a baitcaster. What weight do you prefer out of the two for an all around crankbait? And I request that a mod please delete one of my topics... Somehow it double posted the same topic twice.
  20. For visual purpose, this is what I'm looking at.
  21. This one? The jig doesn't seem to be in the video, but he's mentioning.
  22. I think it was said somewhere that bass see red and green better, but I wonder where does yellow fall in at?
  23. I've never fished with any forms of yellow lures, but I recently was looking at the yellow-jointed jitterbug. How well is yellow for bass?
  24. What's your usual set up for 3/8 oz lures?
  25. I'm guessing that you just don't swing it hard with 3/8 spinnerbaits? I'm in the habit of whipping my casts, and that results in bird nests for me with 2 brakes off and even on a higher number...
